big maumelle river

It was dark scary looking water running through over-hanging trees sorrounded by deep lush greenery of ever sort. I expected to see Tarzan come swinging from the trees at any moment. That river joined another river a little ways down stream and become big, open, and inviting.

No swimming in the area is what the locals say. calm and quiet camping and clean area. Good bike trails all over, and maumelle park was really nice to camp at as long as they mow the grass

Nice in the spring when the water is rolling. Be safe water can rise quickly.
