Three of us went to the winery on a Tuesday midday and had a fun experience. We really enjoyed the wines and company of Kevin Tonnes, and bought three bottles to take home with us. This is a Muncie must-see. Try the cherry wine--it seriously tastes like cherry pie!

My friend Kris and I wanted to meet at a 1/2 point between our 2 communities so we chose Muncie and then looked for something to do. Not much stands out about the town but this winery was definitely a good selection for us! Tastings ( up to 5 ) are free and the 2 which use Indiana wines are delish and prize winners. ( Traminette and Chambourcin) LOVE the tasting glasses . Unique in that they are not traditional wine tasting ones. ,Michelle, the winery hostess, was both friendly and knowledgeable and has made excellent merchandise purchasing decisions in my opinion. They have a terrific array of wine related products and items and support the local art community by displaying artwork on the walls and in the restrooms ( all for sale) and hosting various events to promote outside vendors. Like the Indy Wine Trail, they are one of the 7 stops on the Northeast Wine Trail that once you visit all, you get a complimentary goblet. Pair this with a dining visit to the 5 minute away Amazing Joe's , a INDIANA ( only ) chain restaurant whose other location is in Columbus. Really nice girlfriend afternoon!!!!

This is the first winery we have visited in Indiana. We have visited more than 80 wineries and tasting rooms; we have years of experience and a basis for comparison. The tasting room offered a selection of 17 wines: 6 dry, 3 semi-dry, and 8 sweet wines. Apparently, sweet wines are a typical favorite for the Midwest customers. Tasting 5 wines is complimentary. I enjoyed all of the dry wines that I tasted, and purchased two bottles of white varietals. Most interesting was the Traminette, from a hybrid grape grown in Indiana. Tasting room staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Even though we visited on a Saturday, there was plenty of parking and staff had the time to offer quite a bit of information. Tasting notes provided were also helpful, with food pairing suggestions. As an added plus, you can taste and purchase wine on Sunday -- this is very rare in Indiana given present law and restrictions. I would encourage wine lovers visiting the Delaware County area to give this place a try. We will most definitely return.
