Quaint little local theatre. No 'bad' seats. Very reasonably priced and good entertainment. When I went, the local actors were excellent. Made for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

The production was very well done and we will be making our way back to see another production. The cast did a great job and you will be amazed at what comes out of this place.

Small 241 seat theater -- not a bad seat in the house -- wonderful. Each production is so much fun -- the volunteers are fabulous and the evening or afternoon enchanting -- for on ly $20 -- a real bargain

Wonderful time to enjoy community theater and small but very charming!! Every seat in the house is great and the actors are very unique and very talented! Spend an evening here and you will want season tickets. They have usually five plays running Oct-May. Always different and special. Visit the island for dinner or sunset before the show!

Nice building with good seating for all. Good selection of shows.Actors are B level but try hard. Better show than one would expect on a vacation island.

I have seen several plays here while holidaying in Anna Maria, the sets and costumes are superb, the play's quality does depend on the Director although I have never been disappointed. It's a beautiful intimate space, the front of house staff are all lovely. It is community theatre and all run by volunteers, I have enjoyed many plays here, and look forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! The play "Mama Don't Fly" was funny with lots of laughs. The theatre is very intimate with only 7 rows. The actors were all great, with good comedic timing and interaction, and easy to hear and understand. The lady at the box office was most helpful in guiding us to good seats, although I don't think any seat would be bad.

Finally got tickets to this theatre, and We were sadly disappointed. The stage and costumes were fine, but the acting was not. Very Very disappointed, I have been to better high school productions..

nothing wrong with non-professional so long as there's a professional attitude, and there certainly is here, enhanced by a small but not cramped theater from which every word and every motion is well conveyed to all but the most auditorially and visually challenged

Just got in from the first night at the Island Players..Super evening the play was funny and poignant always a good combination..There is not a bad seat in the house the theatre is so small.. One of the best plays we have seen there

Small theatre puts on about 10 plays a session. All are very entertaining and enjoyable. The actors are usually local residents.

We went to see "Until Beth Do Us Part" and it was hilarious. Well acted and directed -- apparently all by volunteers. The theatre is small and comfortable and probably not a bad seat in the house.

Perfect for a nice evening at a well run community theater after a walk on the beach. We have seen a performance or two each of the last 5 years and have always enjoyed the play and the experience. We've never been disappointed and look forward to seeing as many performances as we can each year. Nice roomy, comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. Great selection of plays - very entertaining. Quailty of the acting is first rate as well.

Kudos to the myraid of volunteers for the many plays they produce yearly! The cost is of medium range and worth it! Classy and quaint theatre. The trolley stop is across the street for your return. Grab your sweetie and enjoy a night out!

The Island Players Community Theater offers a wide variety of plays. While not of the same quality found in a large city theater group, the Island Players ticket prices are very reasonable and, for the ticket cost, Island Players provide great evening's entertainment. Whenever we are on the island, we check to see what the Island Players are offering.
