I've been playing spivey off and on for over 30 years. For the most part I've played in in a regular group, but I've played in lauderdale tournaments and have been matched with other players when I didn't have a full group. I've been matched up with white, black and asian players and have never had a problem. To say lake spivey staff is racist is a joke. Maybe not always the friendliest, but racist no way. Could there have been a staff maybe that made a racist comment, maybe. But this is America and there are still people from all races that have short fuses with people of other races. Don't go with a chip on your shoulder thinking this place is racist, just go have fun at this course. It's a nice course with nice greens and very affordable. If someone makes a racial comment, just look at them and say God bless you and ignore any ignorance that goes on here or anywhere else in the world.

We love this course! The course is well kept and the greens are always in great shape. We frequent this course often (especially when it's $1 day). The staff is friendly and we've never had an issue. One of our favorite courses in GA.

I loved the course, and myself and my group had a great time playing it. I have to side with the rest of the reviews in regards to the staff members. The guys at the pro shop acted like your business wasn't worth their time, and the racial undertones were quite evident. I could see the way that they looked at us "whiteys", and my group felt very offended. The staff was mostly white men, so I am assuming that they must have been nazis of some sort. But the racism wasn't what did if for me, they are also a bunch of perverts! On hole 8, I stopped by the woods AKA Wiz Palace to take a leak, and one of the staff members was looking at my johnson and touching himself. RACIST. PERVERTS.

Lake Spivey Golf Club is here to serve all people. We have been in business with the same ownership for 30 years. We strive to treat all customers the same no matter of their background. I am not sure if the person had a bad experience with a customer, but I am sure it was not an employee. I spoke to all my employees and made sure they understood how important it is treat everyone well. It would be hard to have an employee in the proshop treat you well and then get a poor experience from the outside staff. It would be helpful if the person might explain this apparent look that made him feel so poorly.

Golf should be fun. If it isn't, you shouldn't play. It seems to be a chore to play this course. The grounds are well kept and the greens are kept up nicely. Most courses have a hole or two you really look forward to. I've played here three times and each time has been progressively worse as it lacks any flavor. I won't go back.

The course is in great shape; I visited the course four weeks in row on Saturdays and by-passed my current cannon gate home course to play there. This is the only good thing I can say about Lake Spivey. I was very upset with the staff who constantly told our group to speed up when no one was behind or in front of us. The gentlemen followed our group from hole to hole which really upset the group I was playing with. We are all seasoned golfers and know when we are playing slow and I don't find it out of line for a Marshall to ask us to speed up, but to follow us from hole to hole and make comments like “we need to have you off this course by 12:00” is out of line and a form of harassment. One of my fellow golfers became so upset he started playing badly and that slowed up the pace even more. We all stated after coming here four weeks in a row we understand the rules of slow play. When a foursome is paying in upwards of $200.00, but is harassed at the course, you can bet they will not return and inform everyone of the treatment they received. I suggest some customer service training for the individual at the starter booth who actually told us to speed up at least eight times from once he came out to the tee box on number nine until we went on to the tee box of number ten. As stated before, we will not be there this week and I feel that Lake Spivey did not want our business anyway. アトランタに出張に行く時には、ほぼ毎回ここにゴルフに行きます！安いしコースやグリーンは、凄くメンテナンスがいきとどいているし、パブリックコースのこの様なコースで、十分に楽しめると思います。いつも予約もせずに直接コースに行き、ラウンドするのですが、今年は寒波のせいか、私以外のゴルファーは、残念ながらいませんでした。今回は＄２８くらいで、ラウンドできました！！コースは全然この値段ではないですよ！
