Staffed by a host in a suit and bowtie, Roxy Cinema is a charming, old-fashioned cinema screening contemporary blockbusters.

Fantastic old community hall being used to show latest release blockbuster movies. Cheep, comfortable and great family atmosphere - highly recommend.

we saw this movie at Roxy a few weeks ago. surprised at the speed at which new release movies are screening at the venue. although there are only three rows of comfy seats the plastic chairs available are comfortable enough. its also air conditioned.

At this Roxy cinema you have to line up outside the cinema, and purchase the tickets 10 minutes before the movie starts.The checkout is also the candy bar. We have been to the cinema many times and throughly enjoyed it probably because it has never been full so the kids could sit at the front. This time however every seat was taken. This made it difficult for the kids at the back to see because the seats are not elevated.Once they settled in, however, they enjoyed the movie.

Went to the cinema with some friends and well was surprised when I walked in. This town never ceases to amaze me. The character, atmosphere and the owner where awesome to see something you wont get in the big cities. A must go and see experience.

a pleasure to go and watch movies in this cinema. it has a lot of character and the owner runs his business very professionally and efficiently. well worth a visit. plus very very reasonably priced.

What the city cinema experience is lacking. A bit of old world charm by the seaside. Your bow-tied host adds a bit of style to the occasion. Ticket prices offer value for money. Hopefully one day they will be able to afford to add more of the comfortable seats. In the meantime get there early for the comfy seats.

A great little piece of history, with a charming doorman dressed to suit. Was great to see a movie in such different surroundings, though more comfortable seating throughout the whole place would go down well.

Want to relive your child hood movie going experience?Then go here pick the seats at the back as they are padded the ones at the front are plastic. The popcorn is made fresh and always tastes great. And $13 for a 3D movie is better than any city

cute little theatre with the usher in a dinner suit and doing the drinks and popcorn etc. Nice man - comfortable seats if you get there early and get the red seats not the plastic ones. Look forward to going again

Wonderful way to pass a wet day in SWR. Reasonably priced tickets, comfy seats, easy access, all the current movies.....perfect!

liked everything. latest movies spread over the day and you can park out the front. even has a candy bar and popcorn and choc tops !!!

My family just love this place, like stepping back in time. The same well dressed gentleman whom sells the tickets then mans the candy bar, bow tie and all. Great value on a wet camping trip or if you need a few hours out of the sun, we will be back next year.

South West Roxy Cinema shows new release movies! It's in a charming, old-fashioned, country hall not far from Horseshoe Bay. The ticket store inside sells food, including old favourites like Fantails and Maltesers. It wasn't crowded which made a nice change from the mainstream carbon-copy cinemas.

Just a small cinema only showing one movie at a time, but a great thing to do if the weather at the beach isn't to good. That being said they have all the new movies and great prices.
