bones rum shop

We had so much fun stopping here (and not just because of the rum). The women working were so friendly, fun and helpful. They first gave us a taste of the rum, which was very good, which convinced us to try a drink. We all chose one of the frozen mixes all set to go (painkiller was delicious) and then you pour as much rum as you want into the drink. It was a lot of fun and a great way to sample the rum.

A rum lover's paradise! This place is incredible. We stumbled upon it by chance the first time. What a great concept. Your cup is not quite filled with the frozen concoction of your choice. You then get to add as much rum as you would like to top off your drink. WOW!! The rum is actually quite tasty and distilled right there on St. Thomas. Need another drink? Just ask! Bottles are available for purchase as well...take one home :-)

I typically do not like rum but we stopped at the bar when we arrived on St John. I did like that you could try it before you buy it. I gave it a try expecting me to hate it. I actually liked how smooth it was and how "hand crafted" it tasted. I am not sure how exactly they make it but it tasted like it was made in small bathes and a lot of attention was given to the product. Hard to describe but it just tasted phenomenal. So much I am getting a friend to bring me a ton back when they visit St John.

This place makes a great spiced rum. They have w a nice gift shop. They also have a nice selection of frozen drinks that They fill your cup 1/3 with then They give you a bottle and you pour as much or little as you want.

The four of us enjoyed excellent drinks and the atmosphere of Bones Rum Shop. The employees are superb and the locations is excellent. We will return.

We make a point to stop here every time we are in the Virgin Islands. Great rum and you can only get it at this store. (They used to have a store in St John also, but no more). We bring Bones Rum as our full allotment of liquor home with us. And it's fun to shop while enjoying their drinks.

Took the taxi from the cruise ships into Downtown St. Tomas. And was dropped off right outside this quant little rum shop. Didn't pay it much attention but at the end of the day wanted to check it out. Glad we did. They have set slushy drinks which you choose which you want and then there is there own brand of rum on the counters which you pour in YOURSELF. A lot of fun and the staff all seem to make it even more comical and fun to take part in making your own drink. If you are in St. Thomas I would defiantly give it a try.

The best little find! I still regret not buying a bottle of their rum. However what is better than choosing a drink and then pouring in your own alcohol?! They even didn't care if you drank half first and then filled it up with rum. Definitely was a fun stop!

What a place!!!This is a real hidden gem and totally unexpected as it looks like a simple shop from the outside. Once you go in you realise they produce their own rum and for $9 you can pick any combination of slushy tastes and then pour as much or as little rum as you like, as many times as you like into your drink!!!Must go place!!!

We enjoyed the service and the drinks. We ordered ours Virgin, it was too early in the morning for us, but we loved the tasting and enjoyed virgin drinks. Great service too!
