marina at yacht haven grande

On a recent cruise, my husband and I walked through the marina. He loved looking at the beautiful yachts while I looked for souvenirs. However, only high end designer shops are in this area which I can find at home. It is a nice area to walk around - clean and modern with several restaurants facing the water, but not a place to buy souvenirs if that is what you are looking for.

Beautiful yachts. Stopped for a snack and admired the boats. Lots of touristy shops. Very interesting.

Not a great find. I was hoping to do a bit of shopping while my family went back to the ship we were one and I had some time to myself. Only a few shops open, Coach was in the process of going out of business (that says a lot!) and Salvatore Ferragimo was nowhere to be found. Very deserted late in the day and felt a bit sorry for it. No one wanting to spend any money I guess. Not a lot of selection and what I did find was either tacky or overpriced or both. Walked away empty handed. Wished I had come upon the farmers market as another reviewer mentioned previously.

Unique shops but rather pricey. Very nice restaurants that are along the water. Once a week the locals have a farmers market that is very nice.

Very clean, open area. We enjoyed the lawn games in the center of the shopping area. There were pix allowed by the yacht's...it was amazing to get close to these large vessels. There was a separate dock for the cruise ships.

When visiting St.Thomas you might enjoy a visit at Marina at Yacht Haven Grande near the cruise ship docks . This very nice Marina has a wonderful shopping center with a very nice selection of some of the best luxury brands in the world, along with some not so expensive shops and restaurants. A view of some the most beautiful yachts in the world might be available at dock for your enjoyment….Very Nice!

I really enjoyed walking around this large upscale marina! Plenty of places to sit & enjoy the view, shopping, coffee, drinks & a nice walk all while checking out the mega yachts along the docks! Very cool!

We met our sailboat here as our starting point for a 10-day cruise. It was only a 15 minute ride from the airport, which was awesome. The security of the marina was fantastic...not once did I feel unsafe, despite the not-so-nice area just up the hills. Great shopping! Very clean and secure. Great view of the bay. Gorgeous boats... Take a stroll down the dock at night when it's all lit up and check out the other boats the super yachts that dock here!

Great place for shopping and getting some good food. Sometimes live music out on the lawn area. If you don't want to head down town, or get caught up in some cheesey tourist shops thai has nice stores and restaurants to enjoy, relax and takje in the beauty of the harbor.

You can find everything you would want at the Marina Haven Grande. Jewelry, food, etc. worth shopping here first before venturing into town. If you find what you need, you will be set. Plenty of tshirts, souvenirs, jewelry, food, etc. walk at your leisure and have fun.

great place for eating and shopping. I spent more than what I had planned, but I'm not complaining :-)

viewing all of the expansive yatchs made you forget where you were. There are lots of upscale shops in this district snd lots of places to purchase jewelry. Which of course we did!

YHG you'll find upscale shopping, wonderful views of the Havensight Harbor where cruise ships dock...just a quick walk over and you can get a bite to eat...instead of the trendy restaurants try "Mama's" little hut/shack she has the best breakfast : banana johnnie cakes' pancakes, fish and fries and island drinks,,,her place is at the end of the parking lot. Also "Bad A#@ coffee "(sorry that is their correct name!)is there which has wonderful Kona coffee and they also make sandwiches.

Pretty cool to check out the yachts and the shopping was surprisingly good deals. We ate at the fat turtle for dinner and fed fish right from our table. Good food and prices, service was terrible.
