I've golfed here infrequently, but regularly, over the past ten years. The course is fairly short. A lot of dog-legs. Prices are OK. Service is pretty friendly. Not really much of a Country Club, but they do have a restaurant/bar which we enjoy afterwards. My boys took golf lessons there when they were growing up, and the driving range is pretty reasonable. Good place to go, but other than the many angles its not too difficult and reasonably flat for those who walk the course. Its pretty well cared for and the greens are in good shape.

Yes, this is a golf course, not a country club. But I play here about once a week all summer long. It is local, and they can always find a time slot for you. I am only an average golfer and will probably will never be more than that. This is perfect for me. There are some longer holes, some holes where accuracy really helps, lots of water and sand hazards, and then some long, straight, wide open holes. It is not nearly as expensive as many of the surrounding courses. And while I don't play early Saturday or Sunday mornings, it rarely is so backed up that it becomes frustrating. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. And the 19th hole has a wide selection of beers and wines and the food is delicious. Yes, it is a little run down, but I still like it.

I have been to events in the function hall a number of times. The room is beautiful with a coat room, a stage on one end and a nice view of the course on the other end. The bar area is small and right off the middle of the room, but they get plenty of people through it. Both events were only partially catered by CCB, so I cannot comment on their function food. Maybe in the future.

The rough is so deep I lost 2 balls. The woods & stream are filled with litter. The clubhouse has'nt been painted in ???

I took my family to the Billerica Country Club this weekend after moving here from Boston on the recommendation from a new neighbor, and what a mistake it was. First its not a country club, just a golf course with more divets than holes. When i think country club i picture pools, freshly mown lawns (minus the crabgrass), activities for kids, high dining, etc.. This place offers none of that. Second there was no options for kids other than if they want to hit balls at the driving range even though their website claims to be kid friendly. The decor reminded me of being in a run down 80s film and the waitress (Brin I think her name was) got upity with my wife after she had asked for her steak tips to be cooked awhile longer and if their vegetable medley was fresh. The food tasted frozen and reheated, and for the price was not worth it. I for one hate to be negative after only trying it once, but after the experience we received, but I can say without a doubt, the Billerica Golf Course will never see my families business again.

Been here many times. Grounds and clubhouse are nice, albeit a little outdated. The staff is very friendly. Easy access from all areas of town.

Avoid this golf course, if possible. It is run down and in need of work. Go to the other Billerica golf course; Swanson Meadows. The bar and restaurant food are good however. Stop in for a drink and a meal.

We just had a wedding there. The staff is top notch and anticipated all our needs and even some we didn't know we needed. Brynne their wedding coordinator was very helpful and yet unobtrusive. The weather cooperated so it allowed us to have an outdoor ceremony at the gazebo which was perfect. The food ( beef and shrimp ) were served hot and tasted excellent.Service was incredible. The hall was nicely arranged and having a separate dance floor was great. The package included everything the couple needed and every vendor was helpful, on time and made the day go so well. One tip if you having an outdoor wedding there. Make sure they block off the parking spaces near the gazebo early so they don't have to go look for golfers or others nearer the wedding time. Hats off to the staff. We all had a great time.

I have been playing the Billerica Country Club course since I was in High School back in the 70's. Back then it was only 9 holes which is why 9 of the 18 holes are better than the others. The back nine were added later and were shorter ( although they have mixed them up some now). For someone like me who plays a half dozen times a year it is a good course to get out on. If you are looking for lessons, I highly recommend seeing Barry Bruce the resident pro. Barry is a great guy and a great teacher ( he actually is a retired high school teacher). He will have you hitting them better in short order.

I returned to the game of golf about 12 years ago. The CC of Billerica sits in my backyard.I accepted the welcome then and 100 times since then. I am a former caddie back to the1960's - high school to college. I have seen the very expensive private golf clubs and playedthe 'blue collar' public golf courses in the Boston area. Billerica's 18 holes has it all and thensome. It engages the youthful beginers - embraces the veterans golfers and offers 18 holeson all levels. It has the long par four holes. The easy but not so easy par three holes. Thefairways are wide and spacious. The greens are well maintained even during dry conditions.Walking is good not difficult. There is ample natural shade all of the course and cold wateris available from all tees and greens. The cost is very affordable. There is twilight reducedrate after 5pm for walkers. It is the destination of several charity golf outings and the homecourse of the high school golf team. Everybody is welcome and every level of golfer can feelchallenged but not overwhelmed. The club house is open and friendly. The pro shop staffalways willing to help out a golfer especially singles. They want your business and appreciateyour goodwill. Highly recommended!

We have been here a few times in the early morning for a quick nine holes of golf and everything went well. We haven't gone to the restaurant but I can say I had a fine time on the course.

We played the front 9 last weekend. The course is not long, the fairways are wide for the par 4/5. A couple of par 3s are challenging in that you have to be accurate. Some of the greens are protected by bunkers so it is best to avoid them. All in all a good course for the average golfer. Intermediate and advanced golfers might get bored easily.

Food is good, the service is the best! Atmosphere is very relaxing. If you just came off the coarse or just stop for lunch. No matter what time of year.

Great service at the bar and great food, specials are very reasonable and fresh daily. Beer is the coldest in town. Great combination.
