I am really a one and done person and feel like when you see one you've seen them all. Kids insisted that we go and I'm glad I did. If you have extra time stop in.

Went camping out in Bull Shoals and was so glad that I didn't pass up a trip to the caverns. The tour was totally worth the money you will spend, our guide was very funny and knowledgeable about the caves and the history around them. It was nice and cool down there on a very hot day so that was very welcome and all the beauty around us in the various rock formations was awe inspiring. I brought my boys, not only did we get an educational experience in the cavern but we got to wander around the old village as well. Seeing all that history around us I truly didn't want to leave. If you are out this way don't pass this little place by. I have a small video of the caves here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGFHKq_4HU4&feature=gp-n-y&google_comment_id=z12uh3ng4yqisjys523vfvr4uxjrwl3l2

The cave was worth the drive, but the price was a little steep for the length of the tour. Our tour guide was probably in his early 20's and he was very sarcastic but did give good information. The old town we walked through after the cave tour was very run down and I'm glad we didn't pay for that part.

This attraction is coupled with the mountain view 1890 town. The guide to the caverns was knowledgeable and patient. There were a lot of interactive things to do here. The 1890 villiage was mostly closed off because it was run down. We didn't have to pay to walk through it. They had signs up showing where the buildings were from and little interesting notes. It's self guided tour so you can go at your own pace.

Awesome Cavern! The tour guides are very pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. Encouraging questions and quick to answer. The cave is great, formations are well lit. There are even interactive/touch areas and an interactive "music" experience with one of the formations!

Living in the area I have had the opportunity to visit on several occasions and love to go, Always something new to appreciate in the cave. I took my children when they were growing up and am now taking my grandchildren. Its a cool environment on a summers day and with the added attraction of the haunted tours of the village in the evenings and on special all night tours & ghost hunting you can tour the cave at night. We had some excellent experiences in the evening, but no ghost encounters during the day. I highly recommend coming by and checking this place out!

I've been going to the Mt. Village since I was a little girl. I've seen it as an active "living" village and as it is now. I still find it wonderfully inviting every time we go, and the cavern is incredible to have such interesting formations for its size. Its worth a trip, certainly!

Very informative and fun. Nice and cool and kids really enjoyed it, as did the adults. In the summer, tour guides are fun college kids. Also fun to tour the old town village also located at the caverns. Self guided but still fun to visit.

It was interesting. Not terribly impressive. The old village was really neat, but dirty and in disrepair. Someone needs to buy this place and take good care of it!

A great way to kill a couple of hours while truly becoming one with the magnificent Ozarks. The limestone formations and history are fascinating.

The tour guide was very informative. It was an interesting little cave, it had a waterfall inside it that was beautiful.

We visited the caverns on a 90+ degree day, and we were so glad we did. The tour of the cave was lovely on such a hot day. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed our tour greatly and just as we were getting chilly it was back to the heat. Perfect timing. We then had as much time to look around as we would like. What a fascinating place. We really enjoyed ourselves and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend this as a must see. Only takes a couple of hours and very reasonably priced.

The Cavern was awesome! Be aware, that it was quite a hike down to the cavern. The walkway down, including inside the cavern is cement, although there were several large puddles of water. The Village was very neat, and it was quite a shock that we were able to visit, as the website had said it was down for reconstruction. The buildings are all original from the time period. Although this is a time of a bygone era. The buildings are great, but you could tell that there was alot more here. There used to be a swing ride and a petting zoo. And a larger building in one area, that now only shows the remaining foundation. I would visit this, as I honestly don't know how much longer this would stay open.

The Bull Shoals Caverns is a great experience for young and old alike. Children especially will enjoy the caves and the replica of and 19th century town including and authentic train engine. The cave itself is beautiful full of limestone features, bats, salamanders and other creatures of the dark. your guide will tell of civil war soldiers who hid out there, Indians who used the cave and ghost. Yes, a good ghost story always peeks ones interest. I have visited the cave several times and always find something new and interesting.

It was amazing the guide was pretty good , I'm younger so the 15 year old would have been great he was really cute .. Back to the point , it was interesting to see the sights within the cave , although it was wet on the ground from the stalagmite , and the stream wasn't amazing , we didn't see any animals which was pretty sad ,but we also walked through the little tour which was pretty cute. The little village hillbilly theme was great , in the gift shop they also had a panning thing where you could have panned for gemstones, it was amazing.
