We had an awesome rafting experience going down Six Mile Creek in Southcentral Alaska. The water was high and the drysuite does not always keep you totally dry, but you sure would not want to do it without the suit. We were only going to do the first two canyons, but had so much fun we decided to stay on for the third canyon and it was well worth it. Great guides and great experience!

We did the three canyon, class 4 and 5 trip. The third canyon, for us, while exciting, seemed to be a bit less difficult and shorter than we expected from the preparation and discussion with our guide during the first two canyons. The guides are excellent, professional, fun to be with and it was well worth it, but there were not as many difficult whitewater challenges as we anticipated from the build up.

Indeed very nice and in some ways even more, but not because of the rapids (we did class 3 and 4 only), but more because of the conditions. Getting dressed in real dry suites, which allow you to enter and swim in waters of around 42 degrees Farenheit. And yes, before you board the boats you will experience a 2-3 minutes swim/float in the icy waters. And not only will you be fine, but you'll enjoy it tremendously. Then you'll do the actual rafting and much based on your guide's experience and ability to drive you to follow his/her instructions, you'll enjoy white water rafting of an hour or more with not too many challenges, but very enjoyable.

we did the lonj trip (3 canyons). Don't think that if you know what is rafting, you can skip this one. You can not. It is awesome. Guides are super professional and the creek is amazing.
