We have fished with Henry's Fork Anglers for over 15 years. Simply stated, you will not find a more friendly, professional, or great group of guides anywhere. From the most seasoned guides to the youngest guides, they will focus on putting you on the fish, having fun, and making the trip enjoyable. They also have the patience to fish with novice fishermen, younger fishermen, and people whose technique might need a little work. Mike and Chris Lawson have continually been able to recruit great guides, and our trips are always very enjoyable. If you want to fish Harriman state park/railroad ranch, these guys are your ticket.

If you're a fly fisher, and fishing the Henry's Fork, this is the iconic location to visit. Mike Lawson, the owner, has published two books on fishing the Henry's Fork, and is pleased to sign your book. If he's not in, leave your book, he'll sign it and mail it back to you. It seems you never have enough of the right flies, and since the Henry's Fork and The Ranch are such special places to fish, be sure to get some local advise before you venture out.

We spent a day on the Henrys' Fork with Matt. He was an excellent guide, knowledgable and patient. He did a great job of getting us to where the fish were. He had out lines rigged up in no time whenever it was needed and never sat still making sure we both were landing fish and getting the best out of our day on the river. Everyone is the fly shop was great as well. We'll be back!

Great selection and service. We contacted them ahead of time, and they mailed us a guide and DVD for HF. Once we arrived, they were very helpful. Obviously, a higher-end than Cabela's and the price reflects that. Unfortunately, we did not use their guided float trip, hopefully next time. I suspect that our results would have been better with their help, although most of our group were rookies, and results reflected that.

This is one of the nicest fly shops I have ever been in. The building is very impressive. It is built from lodge pole pines and is very classy. Artwork is displayed on the second floor. We took a float trip from here with Mark Smith ("Smitty"). I can't tell you how impressed I was by his professionalism, positive attitude and coaching. He actually walked the boat down river to put you in the great spots and held the boat there. He is a very had worker and takes his job very seriously. He was very accommodating to my wife who was just along for the ride. He made the trip comfortable for her as well. Oh yea.......we caught tons of fish. I highly recommend this experience if you are in the area.

We fished the Henry's Fork last week for a few days and stopped by Henry's Fork Anglers for some advice. The manager of the shop, Devan, and one of the guides, Andy were in the shop and they couldn't have been more helpful. Sometimes you go into a fly shop and it seems like the guy behind the counter feels like he's doing you a favor by talking to you and can't wait to get you out of the shop. Not the case here. Devan and Andy spent a ton of time with us, pointing us in the right direction and helping us with our fly selection. This has been previous experience with this shop as we've been lucky enough to have Mike working when we've stopped by in the past.DavidStratham, NH

We used this outfit to take a guided trip down Henrys fork with our children. Andy and Joe were wonderful guides and we all had a lot of luck catching rainbow trout and white fish. Plus, with our guides help, we improved our fly fishing skills. I highly recommend this outfit to anyone in the area.

Highly recommended guides for a surprisingly technical fishing spot. Local knowledge is critical to success on these waters. As such, plan your trip and timing carefully - and, most importantly, choose guides and outfitters who are keenly interested in your success (rather than your price-point or comfort).
