The quality and selection of the food at the buffet was good. We enjoyed the murder mystery that was acted out, but found it very challenging to figure out (though one table actually did). Also, we got there at 6 pm to be seated but did not leave until 9:30 so be prepared to spend 3 - 3.5 hours. We had a great time collaborating with each other and the other people at our table - FUN!

There is not much competition for night life around here, especially if you are staying at Massanutten Resort. This was an okay "Clue-like" production. Some of the actors flubbed their lines and most grossly overacted, but they looked their parts. They involved the audience which was fun. The food was average, and not a lot of it...London broil was cold, chicken was dry, and the pork was flavorful. The cheesecake was really good. We had a coupon from the resort which cut the price. I don't know I would have wanted to pay full price.

The food was amazing. We had salad and appetizers followed while waiting for the show to begin. The buffet was great, this night was crab legs, filet, chicken Alfredo and roast pork tenderloin. This was all topped off with cheesecake and chocolate cake. The actors made you feel as if you were part of the show and it was all well worth the money!

The experience was fun. The food was not good - not a good selection and cold cold chicken. Don't pay full price. It was also a bit too long.

The buffet was mediocre. The appetizers were geared toward kids - cheese and crackers, mozzarella sticks (they ran out of sauce), raw veggies, and meatballs (which I didn't have because they ran out). The beef was too chewy to eat; the chicken wasn't much better. I don't understand why they even served messy crab legs - cheap I suppose. The desserts of chocolate cake and cheesecake (which I both usually like) were too sweet. The play (called "Hint") was poorly written. It was frustrating because we tried hard to listen and look for clues, but there were very few. The answer turned out to be very straightforward; not really any mystery at all. The dialog was dull and would not have kept my interest at all except we paid so much for the tickets. The actors were nothing special. The Butler rehashed everything that happened, which was even more boring the second time around, with the added annoyance of having all the actors literally run in circles through all the doors. No scenery and almost no props. The whole idea sounded good, but was poorly executed.

This was our first time and we loved it. Can't wait until next year. Good was good.but the entertainment was better.

The murder mystery was lots of fun. It is very campy but fun and engaging. Audience participation is at a comfortable level, you are asked at the end to determine who done it and submit it in writing. The dinner is standard conference center buffet.

They had buffet that included crab legs between acts. The play was so so, some of the actors tried too hard. A bit pricey at $65 per person especially when you take tweens and teens. There is a cash bar. All in all we had an enjoyable time.

Our family really enjoyed the dinner show on 9 July. The mystery was harder to solve than I expected, but it was great fun trying. It also helped, I'm sure, that we sat at a table with nice people. The food and the service were good. The cast of characters were wonderful and it's great when they walk around table by table to answer questions from the audience. I love that our 10- and 12-year old kids enjoyed it as much as the adults did, and participated in grilling the cast even more than we did!It took a strangely long time to get the crowd in through the door and seated in the very beginning, which added to what was already a lengthy play, but we are really glad we went!

My husband and I attended the dinner on Thursday. We had an activity card so we got a discount on the tickets. All you can eat crab legs were fantastic & the rest of the food was pretty good. The servers were very friendly. The mystery show was a little longer than I was expecting but it was funny and we enjoyed trying to figure it out.

Very nice setting, good food, and a great story-line. Follow along carefully, pay attention to details, and it will help you solve the murder. The table that guesses correctly wins a prize.....and my table won. That's not why I'm giving it a good review, it truly was a fun experience, and the kids loved it.

This was one of the highlight's of vacation! A bit pricey for me... But I guess when you add it all up it was well worth it. I loved the show and the all you can eat crab legs were great! I would recommend you go!

The buffet was delicious, all you can eat crab legs. The show was entertaining and interactive . Actors made the show very enjoyable.

The show was great. Overall the food was good. They. would have had more desert selections. I ended up being at the center point of the show which made it better for my family. I got to get up and take a bow with the cast.

We've attended quite a few dinner theaters throughout the years! The entertainment for this one was excellent! The show was fun -- it is not meant to be academy award material and we all enjoyed it (including our two teenagers, ages 18 and 15). The food, however, was mediocre! The buffet consisted of mealy meatloaf, dry/salty roasted potatoes, fettucinni pasta w/ chicken, steamed veggies and steamed crabs legs. Definitely not worth the price we paid (approx $65 a plate). But the show was fun.
