township auditorium

I went here for a comedy show on 02/07/15! The show as very good with good lighting and audio!! The only complaint would be they need more ushers because seating is a little tricky!

Township was renovated a few years ago and is nicet and more user friendly. Avoid the paid lots, the attendants leave you to a very dark lot that is hard to leave. Get there at least 45 minutes early and park at a Taylor Street meter. Alcohol is sold which leads to drunks.

Clueless staff. At Joe Bonnamassa concert and people around me are illegally video taping the entire show . Sloppy drunks ruining show for people with ushers not doing anything. I won't be back..

best closeup concert space in town. not a bad seat in the house. restrooms on both floors. pay parking. some parking on street but poor lighting and i dont feel safe on side street so pay park, always wine and popcorn, friendly staff

We purchased tickets last minute for a Maxwell Concert and were pleasantly surprised by the venue. Normally we research the venue prior to purchasing tickets but the trip was so spur of the moment that we didn't have time. The venue is small but very comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. We were able to have professional photos taken, there was more than one bar for drinks and there were snacks for purchase. The wait time to get a drink wasn't anything in comparison to a lot of the larger venues we have been to in the past. I would definitely return and would recommend this auditorium to anyone that likes to avoid the large crowds. Parking is very limited but a taxi cost us a little under $20.00 so it was worth not bothering with the hassle of searching for parking.

The size is just right-not too large and not too small-holds about 3,000. We went to see Steely Dan and I think they sold out, or came very close to it. Easy to find seats, restrooms on each level, concessions on each level. My only complaint is the fact that it is very difficult to find a parking place near there unless you get there really early so we went back to the hotel and had them take us over in their van. Parking problem solved! We hope to come back to see other shows in the future!

The renovations made to the Township are stellar. The venue is so much more professional looking and can accommodate small or large crowds. I been there to see music, step shows, and comedians and have enjoyed it each time.

I went to a concert at the Township Auditorium. The venue has been updated and looks great. The only thing was the bathrooms are a little cramp or atleast the women's bathroom I went to. The staff is always helpful and courteous.

The Township Auditorium use to be spacious, but they forgot to renovate with the time. There are just to many people and the seat arrangement is just terrible.

We went to see Ron White. I thought it was really nice and I liked the fact that it was kind of small. That way we could see well.

This is an aged facility. Recently had a face lift in update the interior. Brings in musical acts and traveling stage shows. I've always enjoyed the sound and sight lines. Plenty of free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.Doesn't bring in the top tier acts, but serves it's purpose for quality entertainment.
