We were looking at the park for wedding purposes for my son and fiancé and pretty sure they are doing it there. Great set up. Great views!

We used this venue for wedding and it can accommodate a small to a large party with great pictures! For a thorough walk-about, you should wear good shoes and you can bring a picnic lunch and set-up before entering the park. No alcohol :(

Ohme gardens is a beautiful garden with several waterfalls, ponds and trails to enjoy. There are amazing plants and manicured gardens to view as you walk along the paths. This is worth visiting. We spent half a day and could have stayed longer.

This garden is amazing. The history is pretty cool. It's a great place to visit and relax after a stressful day.

On top of a bluff Herman Ohme and his wife started a very nicely landscaped garden. His son expanded it in later years. Many plants, pools and a few waterfalls make for a relaxing stroll. All the paths are covered in hand-placed flagstones. There are steps and there are choices for easy or difficult terrain. It is well worth the visit.

BEAUTIFUL! Such a surprise in garden landscape. The property offers beautiful views, waterfalls, lush landscapes and numerous walking trails. It is of no surprise that it is an acclaimed attraction. If you are in the Leavenworth or Wanatchee WA area, this is definitely worth the visit.

A very wonderfully different garden. One of the highlights of our trip! Built on a mountain with little rock trails going very way possible. Kind of strenuous, and would probably be slippery if wet. There are ski poles to use for walking sticks and it really helped. A few little pools were nicely landscaped. A lot of overlooks for the city below.

Wow!!! Was this place cool. Basically a couple worked there whole life landscaping and installing about 10 little ponds, and walk ways all around 9 acres I believe it was. I was impressed with the vision. This place was their own little Shangri-La. It was beautiful. I had to think multiple times how many years it took to lug just the flag stone for the walkways all over this property. Somewhere we learned that he went down to the river and collected it before the Dam was built. Again Impressive amount of work!! Have I mentioned yet that I was VERY IMPRESSED!!! Wow, I bet there was 40 rock benches built into the hillsides, each with nice sloped backs that made for a very comfy resting place. The fire places for a small cozy keep warm kind of fire, or one built for a large group and was the location for when you were in a bon fire mood I guess. We very much enjoyed our afternoon here, maybe a tough get around on the steep hills if you are not steady on your feet. Thats my only caution. Oh, and grab one of the ski poles no matter how good of heath you are in, nice rock trails everywhere, but some are steep and the ski pole helped.

During the summer of 2013 we took our son and daughter-in-law to Ohme Gardens. We also had our young granddaughter along. I have known of the garden for many years, but had never visited before. My son lives in Wenatchee and we were visiting him and his family. What a wonderful visit we had. The garden is a wonder in the midst of a dry and desolate environment. The founders had a vision that is amazing. It was like being in a western Washington forest. We enjoyed the water features and the trails meandering throughout the gardens. I even bought a few plant starts on the way out. I highly recommend this for experienced and novice gardeners alike.

It might not look like much from below but once you are there walking around the trails you will feel you've been transported to an alpine meadow. It is a lovely gorgeous place. It is well worth a stop if you have time.

We recently visited Butchart gardens in Victoria - Those gardens are filled with flowers and Victorian design. Ohme gardens are a tribute to the vision of a couple who devoted their lives to building magical trails out of stone. Adorable little structures - think Snow White & 7 dwarves. Reflecting pools with stone benches. Meandering trails. Majestic vistas. Native plants. We noticed as we were leaving that there was a game to look for some gnome and fairy statues - wish we'd known that coming in. There are very steep stone trails - not suitable for those with mobility issues. Wear closed-toe shoes - hard to traverse in flip flops! A lovely and interesting park.

It was hot and most of the flowers were dead. Would not go again in the summer. Perhaps spring is when to go to see the flowers?

This was a nice walk through rocky trails. The views weren't much but the it was a very pleasant and fun time.

I have visited Ohme Gardens many times over the years, and never tire of the view of the Wenatchee Valley, the surrounding mountains and the Columbia River. Each time that I go, the gardens are different depending on the time of year.

Ohme gardens is a beautiful park/hiking trail/garden to enjoy on a warm or cool day. It consists of beautiful flowers, ponds with fish, trees, and gazebos to rest when needed. You can also get a nice view of Wenatchee from there. The area is not for handicap since you have to go up and down the steps to get around the garden. Remember to take water and the picnic area is in the parking area since food isn't permitted inside the park. Great place to enjoy the day for a low admission fee.
