This path goes all along the beach and everywhere you'd want to see in Santa Barbara. The marina is really interesting to stop and watch all the activity for a while; and the beach is in great shape and really great for an afternoon of relaxing. If you like biking, you shouldn't miss it.

I love the idea of the cycle path and enjoyed a safe ride along the front comparing old and new sights.

We rented some bikes and did the Cabrillo Bike Path. It's not very long but is great for those who don't expect to do a 20 mile bike ride. You can ride along the beach and then on to the bird sanctuary. I recommend it on a weekday, however, because it is packed on Saturday and Sunday near the wharf.

The Cabrillo pathway runs along the side of the beach and ocean to and past most of the main ocean-front attractions in the city. It's well-used by bikes and skaters and can get a bit congested at weekends and on holidays; but generally it works well. Getting onto it can be a bit of a mission with a big bike as entry points aren't well signed so we just tracked across the grass to the side and joined the flow of people on the path. Our party of four went biking and it was a lovely ride, though one of our kids had to swerve off the path into a shrub to avoid hitting a couple of small children whose parents decided it was OK for then to run around between the wheels of the bikes. But that can happen anywhere there are idiot parents. The path runs out of steam at Stearns Wharf and it's very tight there to turn round if you wish to. But small niggles aside this is a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours and see some of the sights of the town.

This is one of my favorite places in town. Walk, ride or run it's a great place to be if you are visiting Santa Barbara.

We borrowed cruiser bikes from our hotel and had a great ride along the waterfront and out onto the wharf. It was a blast.

We really enjoyed the ocean view and scenery of the Cabrillo bike path. It's very "doable" for the whole family, and easy even for us, though we hadn't been on bikes in many years. We rode from the Four seasons, past State Street, and up the hill to the end, and we weren't tired at all.

This is a must do in SB, even if you just walk it. The path is smooth and clean but you have to be alert to other users when biking as it can get very crowded on the weekends.

Went for a bike ride to the Marina and walked out on the Spit (need to walk there) at the end of the Marina. Sailboat race going on, then rode to East beach for Art show.

Walk, ride or roll along the beach from the main pier to past the skate park to East Beach, the Cabrillo Bath House and the East Beach Grill - an outdoor cafe that has the best banana blueberry pancake breakfast right at the beach.

To run, bike, roller skate, or walk along the coast of the pacific ocean. I recommend going on the weekday as it can get crowded on weekends.

This bike trail has enough room, as long as you watch where you're going, for everyone. Cruise along the iceplant edged path past the boats, sand, birds chicks, and pets. Plenty to see, eat and breathe in as you peddle yourself down the lane. Worth a rental!

The view of the beach was nice. It was similar to other bike paths that I've seen on the beach. You get a nice view of the ocean. Otherwise, I didn't see anything different about it.

Walk or bike along this pathway for a relaxing experience! Take time to experience this beautiful connection with nature. Many migrating birds can be seen along the marshes.

A must do, so beautiful, no rush ride. Just do it Most hotels offer free bikes and it's mostly a flat ride. It follows the coast as the name would suggest. You also pass the Zoo.
