This is the cutest little town to come and visit. If you are ever in the Laughlin or Bullhead city areas, I highly recommended everyone and anyone of all ages to visit this little town. It is great place where the burros run free around the little town, so many nooks and crannies to find in all the little stores here and the shop owners are so nice and welcoming.

Went to Laughlin NV for a week and needed something to do besides gambling all day so took a drive to Oatman AZ. It took less then an hour to get there and we got to drive on the historic Route 66 Hwy. Oatman is only about two blocks long. It is lined with souvenir shops so you can do all your souvenir shopping in one day. Burros roam the streets and are all named. There is Dusty, Elmo, Jellybean etc. They come up to you and let you pet them. You can also buy bags of food for one dollar and they eat it out of your hand. At about noon & 2:00 they have a comical gunfight in the middle of town. Nice day trip for adults and kids.

We stopped in here and the rest of Oatman. A great place to spend a half day or so. Everyone is friendly and it's a great drive. Especially if you travel the whole route between US 95 and Kingman on old Route 66.

Owners were very sweet and family oriented. They had a variety of candy from when i was a child. Lots of candy to choose from for $7.99 per pound.
