The Prokletije Mountains are very beautiful and should not be missed when visting Montenegro! Every corner is more beautiful and the higher you go, the better. One of the best views are from Cakor, Visitor Mountain and Zavrs.

The Prokletije mountains are stunningly beautiful and wonderfully remote. They are well worth the extra time needed to visit them. The hike through the Ropojana valley is not to be missed.

We spent a day touring these mountains on a private jeep tour with RAMS Travel. The scenery is amazing and you do not see anyone else touring. This is a very special area and if you do not have the physical ability to trek, a jeep tour is the way to go. Also, you can cover the entire area in a day and it's vast and so incredibly beautiful. Also, when you go with RAMS' owners, you get to stop anywhere you want and take photos and linger in those special places!! Truly worth it. Wow...

Fantastic scenery and remarkably undiscovered, during our days walking there we meet very few other people. Plenty of cycle trails well catalogues as well. Locals very friendly and helpful except for the border police where a stated €5 charge mystically became €15 when you came to pay.

Very beautiful mountain range on the Albanian - Montenegrin border. Make sure to inform local authorities when going to hike there (especially when hiking some mountain routes).

Grbaje, Waterfall, Skakavci wellspring. Surprisingly expensive if you compare prices with other mountain regions in Montenegro.

The Prokletije mountains are one of the highest and without doubt most hyperkarstic mountain ranges of the Balkan Peninsula whose white naked karstic and jagged ridges and peaks, build form limestone and dolomite show many cirques that create an imposing wild image which sends shivers and fear to visitors.Prokletije is surely one of the last mountains in Europe that has not been discovered entirely yet, one of the most enclosed, most reserved and most romantic places in Europe.

Für alle Freunde von Bergen, wunderschönen Natur ein Geheimtipp! Grandiose Berge, grandiose unberührte Natur, direkt an der Grenze zu Albanien. Man kann viele gut ausgeschilderte Bergtouren unternehmen und ein Panorama erleben, dass einem den Atem raubt. Die Touren sind top ausgezeichnet und mit ein wenig Glück sieht man Adler und andere Tiere. Auch für Kletterer und Radfahrer bietet das Gebirge viele Möglichkeiten. Anderes als in den Alpen kann man hier noch zu fairen Preisen und ohne Trubel eine atemberaubend schöne Landschft genießen und seine Seele baumeln lassen. Ich kanns nur jedem empehlen!
