A pitty the museum was closed (only limited opening times), so we only have seen its exterior. Make sure to have a look along side the museum at its small building (a "doll" climbing out of its "grave"). Later owned by the Lords Cratz von Scharfenstein and other dinasties. Stairs Tower and triangular bay. Serves present as City Museum. Its barn was converted into a modern exhibition space for the life and work of Katharina Schroth, numerous images and written documentation about her pioneering work and healing methods of vertebral column deformities. Further works by Johann von der Eltz, paintings by Jakob Melcher and sheet music of composer Rolf Desch. Life and work of Spa founder Pastor Felke, with numerous magazines, documents, books and charts. Extensive geology collection of the region Bad Sobernheim with fossil and gemstones.

Museum zum anfassen, das ist einfach genial. Das Areal ist riesig, einfach super für einen tollen Familienausflug. Zentral gelegen ist die Gaststube. Wirklich toll.- und für Wohmobilisten ideal, entweder auf dem offiziellen WoMo-Platz (wo es am Wochenende auch schon mal eng werden kann) oder aber auch auf dem riesigen Parkplatzareal für eine Nacht.
