I am a lucky person as I could enter this mosque with a friend who is expert in Turkish culture. You have to walk a little bit to enter, but do not miss it and be prepared for what you see!

We (a couple) didn't have a chance to enter the Mosque but we still got an impression of the building from the outside look. Because this building is not looking at the center of Szechenyi ter but facing at its side and because it has spherical green roof in contrast to other roofs nearby, it looks a bit out of a place. However, it is just an impression of a first minute because later you get used to its unusual position and look. The most exciting part of the Mosque is hiding behind it, where St. Bartholomew’s Bell is installed. We were lucky enough to see a little show (with music and movements) that this bell does only couple of times during day. So if by any chance you will hear a melody coming from behind the Mosque, don't miss a unique opportunity to see how 21st century bell tower works!

This building (former mosque now catholic church) is currently closed due to renovations. It is still impressive from the outside as it dominates Szechenyi Ter! Really enjoyed viewing it day and night. Lighting changes so much.

When we were here yesterday, there were workmen all around the church and we couldn't find a door to get into it. Then today there was some type of clerical meeting regarding the re-construction of this Pecs icon and a door was open. We went inside and it was lovely. They have done a lot of work inside and out to re-hab this great building.

Interesting and unique Church - Mosque! You should visit it! It's a historic place in this beautiful city!

the Mosque at first was the Gothic Church. After urks came to Pecs it was built at the place of the church. When Turks left the city, jesuits converted it to a church again. Today, Mosque represents a unique mix of muslim and Catholic traditions.outside you can see a cross perched over the Turkish crescent moon. Unfortunatelly, Mosque is now closed because it is under reconstruction. On the back of the Mosque you can find 3 bells which rang every day at 7, 12, 17:50 and 19h.

Especially in these days, it is moving to see the Christian cross and the crescent of Islam together above the dome.

Visiting the city of Pecs last April with my family. This Mosque undergo heavy construction work internally and out. So it had been close. I tried to visit but door were shut.So not really sure when it will be open again. Externally it like round shape and dome roof. It shouldn't have been called Mosque and it is no longer a Mosque any more.

it's a mosque turned into a church , it looks more spectacular from outside than inside, and not much of an information other than a page on the wall. and not so many souvenirs to buy.

Worth to visit to see how a former mosque used as a church now for worshipping. one of the two mosques built by the Turks during their 150 years of invasion.

seeing a merge of moslim architecture with catholic use gives the visitor an unique blend. a bit run down though.

Dominating the main square, the Mosque is a worthwhile visit. The interior is not as stunning as I may have expected, however it is fascinating to see the amalgamation of Christianity and Islam. The mosque sits well at the top of the square, and quite deservedly so!

The mosque is the most prominent landmark in the main square of the town. It is quite impressive and can't be missed. One of the few remaining monuments in Hungary from the Ottoman period

Visually impressive, but not as elaborate as I might have expected. Well worth seeing. Centrally located in St. Stephen's Square.

Mosque was closed at the time we were there but its nice to take a photo photos of building as part of your downtown trip. All the historical attractions (well, most of them) are walk-close to each other, so you just can walk around and see most of the cities beauty.
