I recommend this spot at night, after a downhill ride thats what we did and it was awesome. It is open until 12 am. You need to get your own towels and dry clothes and thats it, enjoy

Bathing in hot thermal waters beside a rushing river to cool down in? At the bottom of an absolutely verdant valley? What more can you ask for. Oh yes, the fact that it is less expensive than any of the other neighbouring thermas! It's well worth a visit.

Nice place to relax, there are a lot of pools to get in, very good organized. It's very naturale constructed but the same time civilized. Wild but comfortable.

Very nice and relaxing place with lots of nature around. The pools were good even tho only two of them where hot enough for a rainy day, the rest were cold or weren't available to use. Despite that it was great to come here. Thanks a lot.

It is a must place to visit, specially if you visit during winter.Best to visit with a tour, since all is going to be taking care for you.Usually tours are at night, around 8 or 10 pm.Do take a towel with you, and a cloths change, bathing suit and or bikini.

We went in the morning at 11 o'clock. It was exactly the time it opens. We were competely alone at the whole area, after 1 hour a few people came, we had enough time to enjoy the thermals and the nature. Full of colours, trees, a big river etc. I don't understand why all the tours go after 8 in the afternoon, you can't really see the view that time. The thermals are quite beautiful, don't expect to see any luxury. You will be yourself, thermals and nature..whatelse..

It has 6 different pools. Size is okat and the location is very nice with the river nect to it. For the price you can't expect more. Pools could have been a bit warmer. Negative was that there have been loads of kids who were very loud and splashed the water around (gotta say that I've been there at 8pm)

We visited Los Pozones following a day of snowboarding in Pucon to loosen up our sore muscles and really enjoyed it. We noticed that most of the tour companies in Pucon were selling tours here from 8pm-midnight each night, but we wanted to avoid the crowds and be able to see the scenery around us so we headed there during the day. We caught a local bus out there around midday from the Pullman bus terminal in Pucon and it took about 40 minutes to an hour. The driver took a back road towards the end and stopped at a crossroads to ask if anyone wanted to go further. He seemed surprised at this point that we wanted to go to the pools (so I would advise telling the driver at the start of the trip where you want to go). The price was $1500 pesos for the trip and he dropped us right at the entrance to the pools. From there we paid the entrance fee and walked down to the pools. We were surprised that there was a three hour time limit in the pools but there was no one around to police this so it's probably more of a recommendation. The pools are lovely and very rustic, with crystal clear water surrounded by natural rocks. They range in temperature but only have about three pools that were warm enough to stay in during the cold weather. The pools are right next to beautiful river and there was snow on the other side of it which made it very picturesque. The change things and lockers were all very rustic which added to the natural feel of the place. Having seen the photos of the geothermal pools, I'm glad we decided to go to Pozones to enjoy the more natural surroundings. As most people go at night, we had the place to ourselves during the day, we only had to worry about bus timing for the return trip. Tip: take some flip flops, even in winter. We didn't and the paths were stony and frozen so it was really uncomfortable to walk to and from the pools once wet.

When my husband and I went in April Los pozones was the perfect retreat from the cold drizzly weather. The changing rooms were primative, but there were lockers at every one of the 6 hot springs that varied in size, temperature, and depth. Great way to spend an afternoon. Just keep in mind that no food or drink is allowed to be consumed in the premises and they also give you only 4 hours from the time you check in ( I'm guessing for health reasons because of the hot water.)

I went it summer. I spent about 30 minutes on the line waiting to get in. There wasn't a place to eat there, I find this odd.It was crowded in the pool and people would bump into you all the time. Also, most of the pools were cold.

We went to Los Pozones after a long hike in Huerquehue and had a good time. The water was nice and the atmosphere good ... until the buses with backpackers from Pucon started coming in. It got (too) crowded, people were loud and having food where you're not allowed to.Outside the pools, it was pretty dark and cold. We found our way around, however a few signs indicating where the other pools were (and that some were empty) would have been nice. Walking the hundred-something steps back up to the parking lot was a fun challenge after bathing.

We went on a night tour of the Los Pozones after the day hiking the volcano, so it really was the perfect end to the perfect day. There are around 7 different spas ranging in temps of 30-42 degrees. The first one you come to is the biggest and most popular, but if you keep walking down the path there are many more, that are a little less crowded. My tip - take a bottle of water down with you, as you cant get any there and it makes you hot, and thirsty.also it is beautiful when you get in there, but freezing when you get out, so take a warm change of clothes and bag for wet bathers. Then just sit back, relax and enjoy...

Thermals as any in the world. It cost 5000 until 2000 o'clock and after it costs 7000. If you come to pucon and the weather is a bit cold you can go there at the bus -cost only 3000 there and back. You can catch a bus near 'jac'.

Loved it. Fine facilities, changing rooms and cubbies by the pools to store your stuff so you can watch it while relaxing. Pretty area, but it is a bit small. The river is close and was icey cold, very refreshing after the hot pools.

Delfi1234

We were in those hot springs at the end of the season, so if wasn't crowded. Los Pozones hot springs consist of several pools on the shore of a river, on a nice hillside. It is not a place for SPA lovers, as it preserves it's most natural look.
