Rod and Christina are exceptionally professional with excellent communication. We dived with them 4 times over a 2 week period. Each time was a double dive. It would have been more but the weather cancelled one of our days. When the dive was cancelled, we were phoned early. We used our own gear but their tanks and weights. But, others were impressed with the quality of gear they were given to use. During the hour surface interval, they served us lots of food and tea and coffee. We have dived with them in winter and Christina also made hot chocolate! Cannot speak highly enough of this dive company. The only down side is that there is no hot shower at the end. But, we don't mind waiting until we get home.

A small intimate charter company running out of Brunswick Heads. Lots of local knowledge and skill and they always find whales for you to watch. Nothing is as good as getting up close and personal to these magnificent creatures. Worth every penny for this once in a lifetime experience.

I was glad I chose blue bay divers for my dives at Julian Rocks. Big comfortable boat makes things more enjoyable, that's for sure. They go out for double dives. This means you don't have to go back, get another tank than go back for a dive. Christina brings snacks and foods so you can rehydrate between dives. The large boat makes it easy to get in and out of the boat. They have a fin friendly ladder. I would definitely choose blue bay divers again.

My partner and I live in Brisbane and regularly make the trip down to Brunswick to dive with the experienced Blue Bay crew. We appreciate their professionalism and friendliness, as well as the little extras such as interval snacks (a lot of the time homemade!) and hot drinks. We love the no-rush approach, the small groups and the variety of dive sites. Highly recommended for both advanced and less experienced divers, who will be well looked after. If you are new to these sites, you will get a knowledgeable guide to show you around. We have also been on a whale-watching trip with them and had an awesome time. HIGHLY recommended!

We went whale watching in the afternoon. We were lucky we could go see the whales, the ocean's been rough the days before. We had to ride for a long time before we finally saw the whales. They were amazing! Some jumped, that was amazing! When our trip was at its end some whales came very close. Only few meters from our boat. The crew decided to stay a bit longer, that was a real treat! Crew is very experienced and knows a lot about whales and other marine animals. We had an awesome day! And the good thing is, they were cheap. Cheaper compared to Sydney or other places and you have to ride less mileage on the boat to reach the whales. Hope they keep it like that!

Blue Bay Divers give you a fantastic day of diving. Safety is very important and the expertise of the skipper puts you at ease. Depending on the weather & the strength of currents diving out wide at Windarra is undertaken if possible where some 'big stuff' is more than likely seen. You are taken to the best spots for your 2 dives, with a surface interval on the boat where awesome home cooked snacks are supplied, along with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The staff are friendly & professional .. you are given a wonderful day out with lots of laughs along the way. Highly recommended!!

Excellent whale watching experience. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Bay Warrior is a roomy vessel and the tour is limited to 12. This gives everyone plenty of space toview the whales without hindering or cramping others. I can highly recommend this as the number one whale watching tour operator in the Byron area. The vessel is a roomy catamaran and is covered at the back enabling a comfortable whale viewing area no matter the weather. You step straight onto the vessel from the jetty.No wading out to the vessel as with some other operators. All in all a most wonderful experience. Thanks Rod, Christina and Roundy. :)

Friendly staff met us and explained all safety points. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. This just didn't feel like your polished going through the motion tourist trip. Rather they genuinely wanted us to experience the very best viewing of these mammoth whales. Value for money. You betcha. Had the most fantastic experience being up close to the whales particularly the very active whales.Nice that the number is limited to twelve people only so viewing was easy for all and was not crowded. Highly recommend this experience and this company.

I have dived with these guys quite a few times and they really know their stuff. The always work hard to make it a great trip and to get the very best from the conditions at the time. They are very professional, extremely competent, friendly and safety conscious, everything you want in a dive boat. Go for a dive with them or whale watch and you won’t do any better!

I am based here in Brisbane, and make the drive south regularly down to Brunswick Heads to go diving with Blue Bay Divers. About a hour and a half I am parked out in front of the boat (Blue Bay Warrior). Nothing is to much trouble, and you are not rushed to get geared up to get in the water. If you have never dived the areas that they take you, they will guide you around and show you all the wonderful sites underwater. I one of my dives with them, we had a dolphin near us on the surface, and when we got below, we had 3 dolphins swimming around. That was my first dolphin encounter. The marine life is plenty of and the crew I can not fault. I highly recommend diving with Christina and Rod, and you will be back again.

Rod and chris are great hosts. The kevla cat boat is super roomy and very comfortable with plenty of room tank provided were large with plenty of pressure in them and there was no rush to get back on the surface both my dives were over 50 mins with no drama all in all you couldnt ask for a better way to dive julianne rocks I can not wait to get back down there with them

Blue Bay divers are one of the best dive operators you'll come across in South East Queensland and beyond. They always offer a professional service, and between the crew you won't go past such competent experience in diving the area. You are never rushed while on the Bay Warrior, which has both wet and dry areas, and a marine toilet. I could only offer positive recommendations after doing many dives with Rod, Christina and Roundy. The surface interval snacks and hot chocolate are a personal, and much enjoyed touch. From jetty to jetty, nothing is too much trouble, the diving is brilliant, the service is brilliant!

Have dived a number of times with the Blue Bay crew. Great boat well set up for divers. Even short people like me can get in the water easily and back out again. The crew know the area and diving, they are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Double dives mean that no time is wasted getting back to shore then out again like some other companies in the area. Small groups so there is not heaps of people swimming on top of you once you are in the water. The food between dives is lovely and the hot chocolate is the best ever. My preferred dive boat when diving in the area and I am a local.

You can't go wrong with this crew. They're friendly, professional and experienced. Locals or tourists alike should look no further for a great day on or under the water.
