This place used to be one of the worst and it is now the best in Aylmer! Great clubhouse and a great course... Cart is required, it is VERY long.

It was my first time playing at this par-71 golf course and I really enjoyed my game. I found the course with approximately the same level of difficulty than Le Sorcier (another par-71), but much wider. In addition, you can walk that course, something we did. It has great challenges: hole #18 is surrounded by water, bushes and sand traps; holes #4 and 13 are very narrow and you need to be precise to keep your ball in the fairway; the dogleg of hole #17 along with bush and water hazards is also a challenge. Most of the fairways on that course are fairly straight… except for holes 17 and 18 with their doglegs. This 18-hole Golf Course is located in Aylmer, couple of minutes from Hull. Apparently, the whole course was redesigned. I had not played on the previous design but I can tell you that this course is my favorite course close to home. The fairways are beautiful, the roughs are not too long, so it’s normally easy to find your balls, and the greens are very well maintained. The Club recommends playing a game in less than 4.5 hours. However, when we played on a Sunday, the pace was a bit slow and we completed our game in a little over 4.5 hours. Prior to your game, you can practice your putting as well as your drive or irons, although the practice range is only set up with 3 nets and green matts. The approximate cost is 52$, plus the cart if you don’t want to walk it. With our Golf Xtra subscription, we paid 26$ and we played at 11:45. We really enjoy playing at this course and I will be playing again. They have a beautiful Club House and Pro Shop… everything is simply gorgeous. If you want a course with good challenges, even for a par-71, I would definitely recommend you try this one, particularly if you don’t want to drive too long to get there. Advance booking is recommended as the course seems to be quite popular, particularly on week-ends.

I played this course this June. It is a very well maintained course with interesting holes. Our group had a great time. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a good track in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

If you want to golf on the best public course in Aylmer, my recommendation is that you golf at the Gatineau. The scenery is beautiful, the course is challenging and extremely well-maintained.

The Gatineau is one of my local favorites. Conditions this year are quite good, course is challenging and I always enjoy my time here. The clubhouse is spectacular!!

This course was recommended to us by fellow golfers. We really enjoyed our day on this nicely groomed golf course. We were told that it's been recently renovated and that the club house was quite new (it is very nice). Cost is well priced for the course, and they offer frequent beverage cart service throughout the day. With the hot weather, it was greatly appreciated. Overall a nice experience and a definite course to enjoy again.

The course is really coming along...although it may have been struggling as others did at the beginning of the year. They have really put an effort into improving several aspects such as sand traps etc. A couple of greens are still in a bit of rough shape but are improving as weeks go by. The Club house is really beautiful and the food is excellent. Had another excellent meal with them last week as a group of golfing ladies had a supper and they set us up outside with beautifully set up tables with black linen and nice white roses. The Chef came to meet us, we had a salad with duck, chicken stuffed with sundried tomatoes, pancetta and chefs, roasted potatoes and grilled mixed veggies. Dessert was Lindt chocolate mousse. Love that golf course and the club house restaurant...will keep going back.

J'ai joué jeudi le 18 septembre 2014 pour $51.74 frais de jeu en marchant. Avec voiturette mes amies ont payé $71.00. Pas de tarif pour sénior, ni pour fin de saison.Terrain moyen , beaucoup d'eau et toujours en rénovation.J'ai joué à des terrains plus beaux pour meilleur prix.
