Went on a group tour with Sandbanks wine tour this was our second stop and it was the best! Trevor was our guide and was great! Wines were all great and they even had some delicious maple cheese for tasting.

The nice thing about the winery business in Canada is that many of the wineries are small enough to have good partnerships with other estates. I came to the region because I knew of Norman Hardie. The gentleman there suggested I try Rosehall Run, which is located less than a km away from NH. I am glad I did.The tastings were excellent. Their more heavily oaked chardonnay is excellent. They also have a reserve Pinot Noir ($39) and a blend called The Certain Ratio ($25-$29?) that are both exceptional, award winning, and ready to drink. Most wineries in this area try to compete for the top end of the market, and there is quite a crowded field/vineyard at this point. Rosehall Run offers both excellence and limited production that give them a rightful spot at the top. You can pick up a bottle or two here that few places or people will have. The service here is also very good. Well worth the trip.

We returned to Rosehall Run because we liked the tasting experience last time - and we weren't disappointed. Up beat, knowledgeable and entertaining, our vitner led us through the glide path of tastings until one caught our fancy. All lots tasted interesting but we particularly liked the Rosehall Run oaked Chardonnay 2012. Well worth the trip down the lane off the highway - you'll likely return as we did, for this upscale, predictably pleasurable experience.

Stopped by Rosehall today and had a great tasting experience. Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Facility is clean and bright. Most of all the wine is delicious !!! Bought 3 bottles :)

Excellent red, "The Certain Ratio 2012" is full bodied yet ready-to-drink now. Its a blend of Cab Sauv - 45%, Merlot - 34% and Cab Franc - 21%. Bought a case, but may have to go back for another.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Rosehall Run. Fantastic lunch at the Picnic food truck. Watched an excellent play by the Festival Players- their stage is under a tent on the property for the season (Hope they are back next year). And all followed by a tasting of award winning wines. Learned the Pinot was rated no 2 in Canada. As well cab franc and Chardonnay were our favourites to take home. Lovely little shop with carefully selected foods and related gift items. Friendly knowledgable staff and fun to meet Dan the winemaker.

Yes the wine is considered good by many, many more could enjoy discovering it if more attention had been given to the tasting venue. It feels somewhat cold and distant. One of the staff sounded like a car salesman.

Beautiful outing to a young vine yard where the wine selection is varied and quite good and fruity. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and accommodating which makes the visit even better.

We visited this winery recently with another couple. Trevor served us and spent quite a bit of time with us, discussing the area's climate and terroir and contrasting it with the Niagara Region as well as wine growing regions around the world, and then expanding into the different naming conventions utilized in different wine regions. It was all fascinating, and the wines we tasted were impressive. The Prince Edward County wineries are noted for their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, but there are other wines being produced. In addition to their Chardonnay, our favorites from Rosehall Run included a Cabernet Franc and Gamay Noir.

My mom and I visited Rosehall Run this weekend. First and foremost, I most say what wonderful people work there! We were fortunate enough to have Trevor and Katerina assist us with our wine tastings - they were friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the wines and the county! The vineyard boasts a beautiful store that showcases local products, a large deck/patio on their second floor that overlooks the vineyard, and a new tasting room. Oh, and the wines are just delicious! We will absolutely be back!

Definitely worth the stop because of the good wines, but not somewhere you'll want to spend a couple hours relaxing because there isn't much else on site. (unlike some other picturesque places close by like Grange or Closson that you could sit/walk and stay for a while) Nice tasting room with a few cheeses/meats/preserves for sale, and very friendly service. Make a stop for sure, and enjoy the wine!

One of our favorites on our tour. We had a wonderful chat with the owner while enjoying some of their fabulous wine. A must see on your tour.

Professional staff, great wines. New "artisan" local grocer adds great value to this wonderful winery. Owner Lynn Sullivan and Chef J.J. Syer make a day trip to Rosehall Run Winery a 5 Star experience.

Went because it was recommended for its pinot gris and the staff was so friendly and helpful, ended up getting others! Staff was knowledgeable and great to talk to and didn't sound like they were talking to wine snobs but also didn't seem like they were patronizing to non-wine experts either. A really hard thing to do! The new greer road grocer was also full of goodies to take home like the cashew pesto and cured meats!

It's always nice to fine a winery where staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. And then there is Dan... Jovinal, entertaining, knowledgeable, and fiercely proud of his wines - and with good reasons! His Pinot Noir is excellent, his Cabernet Franc is wonderful, and his Chardonnay delectable - and all show their origins.
