serendipity adventures horseback riding day trip

Far too expensive and not worth the price. Completely ridiculous. The man who organizes the tours, Alex, wouldn't listen to me and overall ripped us off. They put us in a terrible hotel one night and told me that I said I was okay with "rustic" accommodations, even though everywhere else that we stayed was nice. Terrible company overall. I have no idea how it got its ranking in Nat Geo as such a good tour company, but this trip sucked.

We recently traveled to Costa Rica and had an amazing experience due to our tour guide, Cat, and Serendipity tours. The Horseback riding was just one of the activities we did. It was a marvelous experience. The horses are a bit smaller than we are used to in the US so if you are tall, beware. It may not be a comfortable ride. The ranch and conditions for riding were wonderful. The horses were well trained and our guides were extremely knowledgeable. Our safety was paramount and we were given detailed instruction before setting out for our ride. It was a fantastic place to ride, pastures, streams, lots of space to run the horses. First Class all the way!Each activity we did with Serendipity was first class and well done. They planned our entire trip from hotels to activities to transportation.Our Guide, Cat, took us to great local restaurants and explained the county, culture and history of Costa Rica as we traveled. We did not have to think about any details, just enjoy. Our guide, Cat, and the other guides with us for each activity were able to handle every activity (Tree Climbing, Canyoning (Fantastic adventures) , zip lining, mountain biking (extreme in the rain), as well a 2 day white water rafting trip down the Pacuare river. That activity was our son's favorite, the rapids, the marvelous food riverside and at the camp, sleeping in a tent listening to the rivers and the sounds of the rain forest. It could not get much better. An Awesome trip well planned and executed by a first rate tour company. Thinking about it.. do it. You will not be sorry.
