Keansburg Amusement park is a family activity with rides for the very young to the gas powered adult car ride. With an assortment of eateries, attractions, and the water park right across the street this place cannot be beat for a day in the sun with the family

The waterpark is soo much fun and the amusement park will not disappoint your kids. It is a nice place where the kids wont feel overwhelmed by the rides and the lines are never super long. Tickets can be purchased as Easter gifts when they are buy one get one free. The kids look forward to the week day trips to go on the rides and it will not kill your budget. Everything is moderately priced.

Water park is big but in a small area. Many different slides for all ages plus they are not too far apart. Go play in the water park then walk across the street to the amusement park. Not a lot of rides but just enough to tire the kids out. Lots of games of chance but most are winner every time. You basically buy the prize. I went early with my grand daughter and rode the rollercoaster 10 straight times without getting off.

Nice place for younger children. Plenty of kiddie rides. Some of the ride staff were obnoxious making up rules about the height requirements. When I complained to management they were equally obnoxious although later they fixed up the problem.

Just the right place to take kids or grandchildren, plenty to see and do, family atmosphere. Arcades, games, rides and typical amusement park food fare all reasonably priced and right on the shore. Easy access parking makes this a pleasurable day.

I've heard good things about Keansburg for a while now. I though I would take the kids up with the wife this weekend. The place was like a ghost town, not many people around. They do have a lot of kids rides which was nice and the price wasn't to bad. The issue I had were that there wasn't hardly an ride employees around. When I went to buy tickets I asked the lady when the bigger rides open, she said just go and wait someone will eventually get over to you. She said it kind of rude though. So, you'd have to wait for them to finish up a ride across the section and then come over to do the one you wanted to go on. Took forever, I understand its a staff issue in the off season, but employees were not in uniform and it was hard to tell who was who or if a ride was even open. The employee I did encounter were rather nice and informative though. The kids had a good time and we were there for about 3 hours and they got on about 10 rides. Prices for 100 tickets was $54 and we still have about 40 tickets left. Food prices were not bad either, $2 for bottle water and fountain soda. Parking was $5 to park right behind the park. Will I visit again, I will next year to ride the new coaster Looping Star and use up the rest of the tickets. I hope they have better staff setup next visit.

This Groupon did not work for us because we only had time to go after 6pm on a weeknight. In that case we would have saved $16 just by purchasing the unlimited ride wristband on a Special night: Mon, Wed, or Thurs for $17.4 instead of this Groupon being $25 each person. Even with the added free go cart ride of $6.99 its still cheaper at $24.48 person going on a specail night braclet deal and purchasing a separate go cart ride. This is provided you are in couples of two or family of four (bands must be bought in multiples). Even Midnight madness would have worked better for us at $15 pp instead of the Groupon $25pp. So just be careful and do the math for what your family's needs are or what you have time to do. This Groupon is only worth it if you plan to go on a weekend and full day of rides. Even the Waterpark combination special $22.47 pp buy 1 get 1 comes out cheaper with more activity than the Groupon if you can get a day off from work on Mon, Wed, or Thur. I tried to call & email Keansburg to see if we could apply the facevalue to future combination tickets on a special day after expiration, but no reply.

This is not by far a big ticket park, however the price is fair so if you want to have a few thrills and not break your wallet than this is one of those places, I really, mostly enjoyed the water park.

Was first at the water park for a birthday park and really enjoyed it so i when back on a Thursday morning parked in the $5 lot, and walked about block or so to water park. Was gonna get the buy one get one 1/2 off all day bracelet which also allowed u to go on unlimited rides at the amusement park..the only catch was we could only go to water park at 2 o'clock ..so we opted for the 3 hour water park option which was $28 and my son who is 5 payed ..i think $12..the have a good amount of water slides for little kids and about 5 or six bigger ones that my 10 yr old and i could go on..they have like 2 food stands(burgers, hot dogs ,pizza etc.) then we went over to amusement boardwalk area..was pretty empty some rides not working i bout 50 tickets for $30 (little kid rides are 2-4 tickets) bigger kids (4-7 tickets)..not a fan of the amusement park but would go back to the water park..it" fun and not to far !

My family has pretty much outgrown this amusement "pier". It isn't the type of place in which you would spend an entire day. The food is decent and my kids have always enjoyed the "games of chance". Some are only 25 cents/play. Since the ocean was too cold on the weekend we visited LBI, we hit this small waterpark on our way home. The parking was empty when we arrived at 10am on a Friday. We chose the metered parking because it was close the water rides and we had only planned on staying a few hours. As usual, it was very clean. I enjoy the lazy river and the kids enjoy the slides. There were a few camp groups there, but it didn't seem over-crowded. I am not sure I would ever go to a small park like this on a weekend. It's good for a weekday trip, though. I usually go here once a year, so I've had my fill for this year, but I will stop-in again next year, or maybe the week before school starts when it's really uncrowded!

I visited this trash park on saturday july 5th 2014, the parking there SUCKS big time for someone who is coming to an amusement park. Were do you pay meter parking to go into an amusement park. The ticket officer and town works together to get money from visitors to the park. The $5 All day parking is filled in 10 mins by the residents so you have to park on the meters and then when you enter the park you are left worrying about the meter running out and if you are 1 min late There goes a ticket you also have to watch out for keansburg traffic and parking regulations were you can and cannot park be very aware or you willl be ticketed how ever my overall view and liking of the pArk SUCKS you pay for unlimited Bands to enjoy the day but alot of the rides are off or very bumpy and shakey the water is ice cold even in 90' weather just one big Terrible Experience would never go back again or suggedt for anyone to go

We went on Sat July 5th at 3pm, their ($5) parking lot was full so we had to do meter parking which ended up costing $16 until almost 11pm. 4 of us had wristbands plus 4 go-kart tickets for $50. This would cost nearly $170 for 4 on a Sat. I'd never get us all wristbands for here as my 3 yr old had a blast but my 10 yr old had a less exciting time. My wife and I went on just a few rides. There were fireworks at dusk which were very good. I knew of the damage of Sandy and seen pics at the time but hadn't been back and was disappointed that the new roller coaster was not functional and the old horror ride is gone, destroyed. The new one is ticketed separately so we did not do it. The nicest of the bathrooms are near the kiddie go-karts, none of them are very big or nice. The park is kept fairly clean and I feel safe there typically but this night there was a heavy police presence which was nice. Lots of rides for kids just over 3 ft tall to 42 inches. As a family, I think we have outgrown the park. I've had hot dogs near the go-karts, cheeseburgers at the huge stand near the bar, pizza from Pizza "V" and it's all tasty and reasonably priced especially for an amusement park setting. I recommend the park for families with small children. You can just buy tickets and use them on multiple visits I you want.

Me and my wife went to the pier around 2 pm last Tuesday . $8 per person. We were told if there was a thunderstorm, we must come back to the parking area. It was a nice day but there were no fish. The sky got dark and windy around 5 pm. We went back to the car, but left the fishing poles on the pier and didn't reel the line back. We thought we would come back when storm passed. All the people (about 8 people) came back with fishing poles and stuff. My wife said why are they leaving? ls it closed? The pier closes at 9 pm, according to the sign. My wife wanted to be nice and asked me to take the fishing poles back and leave early so the they could close early. (We always go twice a month to the pier ) An employee took our poles back when I got back on the pier. He cut our lines!! The sky become bright and there was no rain. The storm passed in 20 minutes. We lost at least 20 to 30 yards of fishing line for each real, and the hooks and sinkers as well. There was not enough fishing line left on the reel. We lost over $50 worth of supplies. We decided we would never go again.

OK - no one is going to mistake this place for Six Flags any time soon but if you go (during the day at least) you can have a bit of a boardwalk type experience without all the hassle of finding parking, etc. Some kiddie rides that look like fun for toddlers and lots of games of chance and skill. This is definitely not a full day trip destination but if you want to take your kids someplaced where you can kill a few hours for not a lot of money then Keansburg is a good bet. After dark could be a different story based on other reviews but I have brought my grandkids here and I would not hesitate to do so again.

Just there on Memorial Day, Keansburg is a good place to take your younger kids if you are looking for a less expensive alternative to the boardwalks at the shore. If you live out of state - definitely not worth the drive for you. Ride tickets are 75 cents each and for the little ones most rides are two tickets. They have specials on their site. Parking is only $5 for the day if you park in their lot. There is also more expensive municipal parking - $2.50 an hr. It's old, celebrating it's 104th anniversary this year. There are some new areas after the storm and some new and old food stands. Food is also less expensive. It is located along the bay with a not so clean sandy beach. Parking is right along the dunes. We have been there off and on for 10 years. We go early during the daytime when you find a nice mix of families. the rides are attended by older teenagers and often you may have to wait for a ride to be started but there are no long lines. Also many schools and summer camps go there on day trips. The water slide looks like fun but we have never used it. Also on hot days not much shade outside. There is a small log flume rides for younger children & parents. Keansburg is definitely not a modern day amusement park but it is affordable and the young kids love it.
