A trip to Hot Springs National Park is just around the corner from this great addition to the area. Our tour guide, Char, was so full of information it was remarkable. Char included in our tour so much history and information aside from how the whiskey is made. We had no idea the process of making a product for national sale. The cleanliness of the brewery was beyond perfect, the Wyoming wind can stir up plenty of dust but the brewery was impeccable. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area of Hot Springs National Park to take a few minutes and travel north 10 minutes to visit this great piece of Wyoming.

I recently attended a Wyoming Whiskey Bartender Shootout in Lander, where I watched 10 bartenders compete for the best cocktail using Wyoming Whiskey. There were several other regional events, and then a state event. awesome to see a Wyoming business truly making their way around the state!I haven't been to the Kerby distillery, but I've heard it is amazing.

Making a special trip to Kirby Wyoming to take the Wyoming Whiskey tour was well worth it. The tour itself is interesting, not just in how whiskey is made, but also the hoops they have to jump through to please government regulations. The tour is complete, starting with the history of the distillery, production, aging, and distribution. The building the barrels are stored in has an amazing aroma. It is called the Angel’s Cut and one could stay there for a long time just inhaling. It ends at the gift shop which has many items like shirts, hats and other things with the Wyoming Whiskey logo. They also make their own coffee and have some beautiful glassware. The only bad thing was that I did not buy two bottles of the Single Barrel whiskey. Yes not just small batch, they have a single barrel that is also very good. I highly recommend the tour and the whiskey!

Great tour. The team is knowledgable and engaged and it is easy to see that they enjoy what they do. Interesting to learn about the distilling process. I am no bourbon expert but thought the whiskey was quite good. Short trip from Thermopolis and combined with lunch at Butch's place it was really nice afternoon. Fun to be tourists in our own state.

If you like to see how things work and are made, this is the place to go! 12 miles outside of thermopolis, and well worth the short drive! The pictures online don't do it justice and they are good pictures! The tour starts at the top of the hour every hour and it was really informative! It starts in the gift shop, walk through the distillery and warehouse and bottling area, and then end in the gift shop with a taste of the whiskey. Wyoming liquor laws are a bit funky and they talk about it in the tour, but that's whatever, doesn't really affect the daily business. We bought some tshirts and bbq sauce and we are really excited to try the bbq sauce! The tshirts are of good quality and fit really well to their labeled sized! We were sad to see they did not have of their glasses made from the bottles, but you can buy them online once they are back in stock!Take the time to go and see the place. It's really neat!!

These people love their job! They are interesting and very informative. So excited about using Wyoming product, including the water they use for making their whiskey. During the free tour, you learn the process, storing and bottling the product. Sample taste in their gift shop after you complete the tour. Stop by

My husband and I were really impressed by this unlikely new business start-up in a dusty, old-west feeling town. Our tour guide, the still operator, was incredibly well informed on the entire bourbon making process and was able to convey the information in an interesting, engaging way. The owners did things right by hiring a Bourbon Hall of Fame Master Distiller from Kentucky at the outset to begin their small batch bourbon manufacturing. The buildings, equipment and processes all clearly embrace the owners' commitment to high quality. They chose to source all ingredients from Wyoming, including the artesian water drawn from deep limestone formations nearby. The bourbon is tasty and has a complex flavor spectrum. We were surprised at its depth of flavor. Great place to stop, tour and taste, while supporting a cool new business start-up in Wyoming.

My husband Dan and I had a lot of fun visiting Wyoming Whiskey. Char gave us a great tour and we were very impressed with the vertical distiller (we never saw one of those before). We also have been enjoying the tasty sipping whiskey they produce.

My husband took the tour and my girlfriend and I hung out at a local bar. Distillery's are hot. My husband took the whole tour and was impressed with their operation. They only use local water and were committed to using as many Wy products as they could.

Gary and Sheree were really great to work with. They set up a tour for our group. 307 864-2116 Since we are from Kentucky we know a little about whiskey and bourbon. Our group was split into 3 groups and all of us agreed, each of the tour guides were were informed and very personable. The tour consisted of learing how the grain is processed, to how it ferments, and put into barrels and labeled. Each of us tasted the whiskey and some purchased some to take home. This business is in its infancy, and has direct ties to Kentucky, and we wish it all the best. The cost is free and the tour lasts about an hour! If your are in Thermopolis or the Kirby area, you can't go wrong by taking this tour.

The tour is one hour long and gives you the history of the first distillery in Wyoming. Quite incredible considering this product normally comes out of Kentucy. Gary Pfieffer, the tour guide was sincere and informative. After the tour we were invited to taste the product. It's hard to make a fair evaluation sampling a half an ounce. We purchased 2 bottles to take home and decide at our leisure. This business is in it's infancy it will take many more years for them to find the right balance of distillation and aging. They have poured thier heart and soul and a ton of money into this business and I wish them success!

This is little more than moonshine aged for 4 short years...if you've had real bourbon or done the Bourbon trail in Ky you immediately figure this out after your first taste. The whiskey lacks finesse and is waaaay overpriced. Too bad- there is a market for this, but it's an inferior product.

Our tour guide was super nice as was the lady in the store! Very informative and personal. The bourbon is sweet and great for sipping! Fun to do if you are interested in local flavor!

My husband & I recently visited Wyoming, and my husband wanted to visit Wyoming Whiskey. Kirby is really not much of a town, but that is where the Whiskey factory is. We stopped there on our way from Cody to Thermopolis. What nice people. We took one of the tours. The gentleman was so informative, answering all our questions, taking us all around the factory, evwen to where the barrels are After the tour we stopped in the tasting room, tasted and even bought several bottles and even coffee. I think it is great that they use regional ingredients.
