The Only Water Park in the Panhandle of TexasWelcome to Splash Amarillo...

We came to Splash Amarillo for the day whilst visiting Texas and really pleased that we did. The park, although fairly small, was great fun and the kids loved it. There were rides/pools to suit all ages ranging form the Lazy River ride to the larger, faster slides. Due to the size of the park and the number of rides however, for us, one day was enough. I think if we had spent a second day here, we might have started to get a little bored. Overall for the price of entry, it was a good day out.

I'm reading these reviews, and I didn't have any problems or complaints at all. Definitely worth the price, which was only $12 a person with a coupon I found online. Very fun, great music, and relatively large amount of things to do. Definitely will return. James Sebolt

Tacky, Tacky, Tacky. Very unattractive. looks, feels and is out of date. Not very much to do at all. All the extra fees for this place was a joke. So sorry Amarillo This could have been a great attraction.

First off, the price to get in was average. When we walked in we went into the gift shop. They have a good selection of things for sale such as sun screen, goggles, water shoes, souvenirs etc. They also sell alcohol however, it is a bit pricy. There are concession stands as well. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice and clean this park was. It was nice that you did not have to rent a tube and that there were plenty available. There isn’t a huge selection of rides but the rides they do have are quality. My suggestion would be to get here early, leave everything you don’t need at the hotel and bring cash. Wear sunscreen and plan to spend the day here. Also, to get the most out of the park get on the rides, especially “The Taco!”

Spent the day there with my 10 and 14 year old. Slides were a great time. Kids stayed entertained for about 4 hours. We went in a tues. Cost was $50 for the three of us. No fees for tubes and didn't need a locker. Park was not crowded. It could use a few more attractions or slides but overall it was fun.

We went at 5pm and it was only $10. We swam for 2 hours and it was worth it. The park was fun and would go back again. My kids loved it.

You'll be saving ALOT of money if you do skip this place! Almost $20 bucks a person (if it hasn't gone up) fee's, locker fee's, floatie fee's...since when did this tiny place think they were hurricane harbor? Excuse me, this is Amarillo, not Dallas or Houston. Save your money for a real vacation!

Splash would be great, but the prices are way too high for the facilities that are offered. Another thing that leads me to go to other regional water parks it the layout. If you have kids of different ages or swimming ability, there really is no way to keep an eye on everyone all at once. The toddler/little kid area is in the far corner of the park, opposite of the slides. There also just isn't much that's offered for little kids, however, you still have to pay the $17 fee for them.

I visited with my son who is 4. I paid 22 dollars and his fee was 18. Under 2 was free. Despite the fact my boy paid nearly an adult fee, he couldn't go on any more rides than a 2 year old so as a result I would say it is overpriced. Visit on a Tuesday when it only costs 10 dollars. On the positive side, it was clean well maintained and there was a good selection of rides for all abilities. Well covered by life guards. Plenty of sun loungers, rest rooms and showers. Onsite free parking. Would I visit again, yes but on a Tuesday!

this was a nice waterpark - bigger than I expected. It's not Hurricen Harbor - but there are some tall slides. It was clean and the kids had a blast. A little pricey but I figured it was worth it.

We had a great time here. First and foremost, the staff we dealt with at the front gate, and in the gift shop for the locker rentals were super friendly. So that started the experience of great! Our day was a bit chilly, so there weren't that many patrons there .. which was great for us as there were no lines anywhere! The lifeguards were able to give attention and were super nice to our daughter and helped her on the slides and when she got into the water at the bottom. The place is well kept and it made for an excellent afternoon. Though the air-temps were chilly, the water (except the Kiddie pool.. brrrr) was surprisingly warm! I can imagine how packed this place must be on a hot day, but for us, we're now spoiled! But we will definitely be back!

June 28 was a promotional night (7:30-10:30)so we all got in for 6 dollars each. Of course the place was packed. They have a lazy river, a small kids area, wave pool, about 4 large slides, and a sand volleyball area. I have been to parks that are cleaner with more rides, but I really can't complain at that low price. This place is not made for night use so it seemed a little dangerous as the night went on- but the life guards were vigilant. Lockers are 5$ plus a 5$ deposit for the key. Tip- Other promotional nights (7:30-10:30pm) in 2013 are July 11, July 26, August 8, and August 23. everyone older than 2 pays 6$ each.(you cannot bring a cooler)

We've taken teenagers, adults and our pre-schoolers and always had a blast here. There's enough diversity to entertain everyone. Easy to get to and always fun to visit.
