But I LOVE Two Roads. I love the brewery, I love the energy and I even like their beer a little bit. They took an old metal stamping machine factory, repurposed many of the factory parts (such as the flooring and the bar) and turned it into a beautiful brew pub. Not only did they honor the building, but they have honored the industry and the town itself. Example are: lockers from the factory workers in the bathroom, the hand washing station in another bathroom, a live example of a metal stamping machine and pictures of Stratford from the era (including the famous Igor Sikorsky in one of his helicopters). I also love the food trucks in the summer and how they encourage folks to bring food and hang out. I have spent a fortune inside their store because their goods are top quality and their designers have excellent taste. I often hit up the gift shop whenever I am about to go visit friends or family so I can bring a stylish piece of Stratford to somewhere else in the world. I LOVE these guys. And I am not an investor. Damn I wish I was.

This Brewery is amazing: in the taste of beer, the tour and the set up of the tasting room. Its 21+ to get in, so its a great adult only day. Would highly recomend the tour, its $5, informative and you get 5 samples. How awesome is that? Then go to the bar, get a flight and pick 5 beers to sample. You may get a little drunk but you wont regret it

This place always has a great crowd and great beer. The variety and marketing is so creative. Most days there's a food truck outside and you are always welcome to bring in/order your own food. I wish they would expand to a restaurant on site and allow babies/kids if supervised.

Fun,casual local place to try some interesting brews. There are at least 6 in house beers on tap and an interesting mix of people in the large former factory site. The bar area with large expanse of windows looking into the production area gives a unique vibe. food trucks are outside so you can purchase "nibbles" if you want. They also give brewery tours which are fun and informative. Casual, fun spot.

Two Roads Brewery's Tasting Room reminds me of a wine tasting room, but with BEER! You can buy Beer Flights of 4 or 5 small sample sized varieties or order full pours of any of their beers on tap. They don't have a food service license, but most times there are food trucks in the parking lot and they allow you to have food delivered. There's not much better than sampling their beers and having a couple of pizzas delivered right to your bar stool! Definitely a great time.

I am a beer person and must say, this is the best Brewery with the best beers with the most passionate employees ever. They have a fantastic tasting room with very friendly staff and it is just a very nice feel from the time you arrive. They also have special events, release parties, tours and a swag shop and great food trucks. Stop by ask for Ryan and he will welcome you.

Came here for a beer or two with friends the Friday after Thanksgiving. Place was large and overlooked the brewery. Up two flights of stairs (didn't check for elevator, but if you need one, call!). It was a large space but they had enough service at the bar that you barely had to wait. Plenty of high tops and (backless) stools. Lots on tap that was all very good. It was crowded but manager came around to see how folks were doing and introduce himself, a nice touch that they care. It was a little chilly but not unbearable. They have a gift shop and downstairs was a food truck that clearly worked with the brewery, as you could bring in the food and they announced inside when orders were ready. Ample parking, with an attendant for safety. Would definitely visit again! Did not do tour but it's $5 and includes beer. No entry fee for bar area.

When in Stratford, you must go on the tour. Thanks "Snack Pack" for the most informative tour. The beer is very good, probably the best-tasting micro beer I've had so far. The place was packed on Friday, wonderful atmosphere too. Staff people I talked to were very nice. "Roadsmary's Baby" excellent!! I definitely will be coming back here. 2 hour trip from NY is worth it!!

The beers that we had there were uniformly good. The prices range for beer start at $2 and go up from there depending on size and type. You can get glasses and build you own six pack at the store. We did not go on the tour but the place is huge and we heard good comments from those that went through it. By the way, they do not serve any "lawnmower" beers here. Try a flight, 5 beers for $10.

I had a private event with my college alumni group and the tour provided by Jaime was definitely one of the best one's I've experienced. He was so informed about the history and process and willingly answered all questions. The beers are flavorful and if you are a beer-lover, there is something for everyone!!

Two Roads is ALWAYS packed. It has a really fun atmosphere, and is a pretty large facility. There is outdoor seating (beer garden!) which is awesome for the summertime. Food trucks are almost always on premise, otherwise you can bring in your own food. The beer is very good - lots of different options year round as well as yummy seasonal beers. If you like beer, you should definitely stop by and try Two Roads.

I'm not a big drinker by any means; I only drink beers and ales, probably a few a year (no exaggeration). But I am fairly fussy about the beers I like. I won't drink canned beer, Bud, light beer, etc. I prefer heartier brews. And I like to patronize local commerce. So off I went to Two Roads.It was a special Saturday with a bit of a media mini-frenzy going on regarding a charity Two Roads was supporting, which meant for a few people, though it never felt crowded. I had no trouble getting on the 1 pm tour which accommodated about twelve folks on this particular day. The history of the building was very interesting and what the owners have done to restore/salvage what they could is a lesson in creativity and craftsmanship in itself.The brewing process, from the Old World time tested processes through to the five-screen computer program that runs them, was interesting. If you know about beers you will love it. If you don't (or only know enough to know you don't care for the Big Names) you will appreciate thelessons learned.You are given tastes of five beers on the tour (keep your plastic cup because you use the same one for all five - one fellow discarded his and ended up using a paper Dixie cup cone from the water cooler. For $5 I really think they should include one of their cute tasting glasses even if they start making them in hard plastic to avoid breakage issues...it would be a cute souvenir and justify the fee which, while not expensive, is not a real bargain either) It seems they "dry hop" many of their beers. I am not a big fan of hoppy beers, so none of the five we tried really suited me except for perhaps the first, unfiltered wheat beer. I did however purchase a couple of seasonal beers in the Little Heaven shop, which promise to be fruitier and less hoppy. None of the beers were of the weak mass-produced lager variety, so what a previous reviewer said goes: if you are a big fan of Bud Lite, you may not like these.The atmosphere is casual and friendly. There was a food truck outside from which I partook which was quite tasty. However, be warned: while their shiny silver Airstream beer trailer is selling cups outside, you can't bring bottled or canned beer outside and drink it from the bottle or can. One unfortunate was drinking from a can she'd just purchased and waiting at the food truck and was told she had to dump the beer out right there (although the fellow was sympathetic and then decided to get her a cup - it was obvious he has had to do this many times). The only place food is available is out there, so if you want to eat and quaff more than a soda, buy the beer outside or (I guess) get a glass (or save your plastic tasting cup) if you are going to partake of beer you bought inside.

Good happy hour, mostly for the site and people watching. Decent beer, but have had better. Bring your own food, they don't have a kitchen. There are 2 food trucks that rotate in the parking lot, but we weren't interested in the truck featured that day, so no food until we left.

Just discovered this place in the last two weeks during some commuting to and from Groton CT. Located just off I-95 exit 31 (like, three blocks) in Stratford, TRB has only been around a couple of years (according to the server) but has some tasty brews. They offer a 4 oz. taster for $2, so a great way to explore some of there wide variety of offerings. I tried the Road Jam and the No Limits, both excellent. Staff was very friendly, place has a great vibe to it. Built inside an apparently long-vacant factory, has a great look to it. For those of you who enjoy swag, they have a great selection of shirts and glasses. I noticed they also seem to do a nice growler business. Wish I live closer than 3 hours away, I would be making this a regular destination. So, for those of you traveling the Northeast, and I-95 gets backed up, do yourself a favor and take a detour!

My friend and I took the Two Roads brewery tour (just 5 bucks). There is a limit of 20 persons per tour and it is first come first serve so arrive a little early if you want to make sure you have a spot. You must be 21 to enter the brewery so unfortunately families with younger members can't be included. The tour took approximately 1 hour and ours was hosted by the assistant master brewer who was obviously extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the production process. You are taken from the milling area where the grains arrive all the way to the fermentation tanks. Along the way you sample various beers that Two Roads brews. After the tour you can visit the gift shop if you want to take home some beer or a T-shirt. I suggest wearing sneakers as you are walking or standing for an hour and there are areas in the brewery where the floor can be wet.
