michaywe pines golf course

A wonderfully maintained golf course with challenging but "fair" holes. A VERY accommodating staff! You MUST golf here when in upper Michigan!...truly a Golf Mecca!

I've played this course since the seventies. It doesn't have the dramatic elevation changes that some do in the Gaylord area but it's consistently the best maintained course in the county. Staff is top notch and very welcoming. Food is pretty darn good also. If you're going to play a half dozen courses on vacation in this area this should be on your list.

My parents built a chalet as a summer home 40 years ago. Michawye used to only allow special type homes but now they accept everything especially prefab homes it really looks aweful. When you drive to the golf course take Michawye Drive and you will see the nastelgic homes that are A frame and then the junk himes they now allow. They take graet care of the golf course but they need to mow the sides of the road going go the course. As homeowners we Michawye dues and taxes but dont even get the free golf rounds that were part of our dues. Therefore I like the other Gaylord couses better. Your choice flat greens lines with pine trees.

Great, fun course for everyone. My wife and I can play this course and both enjoy it. A real pleasure!

Fantastic course, fantastic people! I organize a group of 72 golfers and we just completed our annual trip to The Pine's (9th year). Judy and her staff go above and beyond to make our outing the best day of the year. Cheers, Pac

Beautiful setting, fairly flat course with some rolling hills, not too crowded, good pricing. On top of that, it has a great restaurant for dinner at Inn the Woods.In the winter, it has miles of cross-country ski trails groomed for diagonal and skate skiing, plus a nice lighted loop around a lake for nighttime skiing. Trails range from gentle to difficult. Excellent place for a ski followed by dinner.

The golf course is fun, not crazy with back to back golfers. Nice course. Very good restaurant. Free art fair in August. Very good restaurant, reasonable prices.

The Pines course is very nice. Fairly flat with nice views. You might be surprised by a deer of fox coming out to cross the fairway.
