What a lovely place to experience the amazingly talented artists of Michigan. Proprietor Robin was so kind & knowledgeable, and the gifts here are one of a kind and exquisitively made. Its's both a gallery as much as a gift shop. There is something for every taste! We bought Christmas gifts for some very lucky family members. Don't miss this when you are in the area.

We walked in with our family. Our grandson- 2 years old- was entranced with a little stuffed pig that 'oinked.' The owner just gave it to him. Our son and daughter in law purchased two paintings in addition to the one they purchased from this store last year.

Driving by we noticed a junk sculpture on the street and thought we'ed drop in for a second to check it out. Spent over an hour. Great art, really fun gallery. Totally loved it. Then we came back the next night and it was transformed into a small, but incredible concert venue. We saw Patty Larkin. Wow. Love this gallery.

This is a great venue for buying local, regional and state artisan's work. Some of the pieces are way out of my price range - but absolutely in my "dream" range. Beautiful log art - beds, tables and wonderful creations. I did manage to snag a great holiday pin at a terrific price. I love it.One of my favorite things is shopping for those unusual pieces as gifts and for myself. This is one of several great places in Boyne City where you can find unforgettable pieces whatever your price range. And as a bonus they are so nice to work with - many times one of the owners is right there to help. I love the personal touch. And I love the tin man who welcomes you to Freshwater just outside. Would love to stow him away to bring home sometime.

Freshwater was an incredible surprise. Over 200 Michigan artist in one gallery. Plus it's also one of the most intimate (150 seats) coolest concert venues in the midwest. We were lucky enough to catch Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Willy Porter, Thornetta King and others. ten out of ten.
