From the Cowley County website "There are only 1,700 stone arch bridges remaining in the United States with more than 16 century bridges across Cowley County."Most of the bridges are on public roads, well maintained and still in use today. The County website has a link to a map marking them and driving directions to each. Perfect photography/art subjects. Well worth the time. Depending on how many you wanted to see, you could spend an hour or several days visiting them all.
