westport covered bridge

This is a beautiful timber construction bridge built over sand creek in 1880 that was reconstructed in 2004. This bridge sets in a area upstream from the Westport damb, the water slowly flows under the bridge making it a desireabl place for a picnics and even weddings are conducted on it.Every summer the small town of Westport holds an bridge day event like a carnival bringing recognition and celebration for bridg and the area.
