Our morning tee time was put back three hours to to zero degree temperature today. The bag drop, pro shop and caddie welcome was second to none.A quick practice and then off for our round with Scott our Fore Caddie. Scott Guided us around the course in three hours without seeing another golfer until 18th. Mind you it was probably far too cold for Sunshine State golfers! The Crayfish and Chorizo Chowder at the halfway house (The Inn Between) was to die for.Would certainly return.

We had lunch in the clubhouse the week before Christmas. The food was great, but the clubhouse and view of the course were the real treat. Even if you're not a golfer, this is still a must!

WOW and then WOW again! This Country Club is unreal. I fell in lust with the place from the first moment I passed through the gates. This historic Country Club is directly on the ocean. I did a full two day tour and literally saw everything. They have numerous eateries, A Beach club, A golf club, a Tennis Club and everything in-between. This Country Club spells class from the surroundings to the employees to the homes. Just to be part of this experience is nearly a dream sequence. I joined on my second visit and will definitely purchase a home in this Country Club. I just can't say enough good things about the employees who strive to make your visit as enjoyable as it possibly can be. I've seen Country Clubs from Maine to Myrtle Beach to Florida but the old world charm of Sawgrass is really the essence of Southern charm. The golf course is beautiful, the tennis courts are phenomenal and the ocean is spectacular. As a member you really get the full special treatment and what I really like is that you just sign for everything and money never exchanges hands. They have ongoing continuous special events like the SenioRITAs tennis tournament at Sawgrass this weekend which I'm sure will be fantastic. I'm a old tennis buff from way back and the courts are absolutely of tournament caliber. I can't wait to play on these courts and eat In their dining rooms. In addition there are several bars overlooking the ocean indoors and outdoors that are amazing. If this Country Club does not do it for you then I don't know what will. The fee to join is very modest for the great experience and memories you can have here. It's almost as if you stepped off of route A1A into an old world time warp of days gone by. This is a private club but if there is any way you could experience this location I urge you to put it on your "must see" list. I was hooked on the first day and now I'm looking for a house to purchase. It's a must visit Club when you are in Ponte Vedra.

The most excellent venue in Ponte Vedra. The Beach Club has the scenic view of the ocean. The food unfortunately is inconsistent. You pray that it will come out hot. Excellent wine selection. The special events like the wine dinners are superb.

TPC Sawgrass is a nice golf course venue, but what they charge for the experience is overrated. The course is always in repair after the tournament and the greens are never in that great of shape for such a highly touted course. You have to stay on the cart paths which always makes the round of golf over five hours. It is a one time bucket list event!

We have a family member who is a member of the Golf Club and stayed at his estate house overlooking the course. This is a very difficult course, though, the beauty surrounding every hole was magnificent! Loved every minute of the 18 holes!

When we visit PVB, we always stay in a condo belonging to our family. They also are nice enough to allow us to join the club as family members, and we just pay for the services that we use. I have to say that we have never been disappointed! We really only use the beach club facilities and have eaten at both the pavilion and at the restaurant on the outside deck. But, both restaurants offer excellent dining options and the pavilion has the best pizza in the area - hands down! We also made use of the pool and beach services. The family pool is quite nice and perfect for us with our three year old. I appreciated that there were three pools - an adult only pool, a kid only pool, and a family pool. We used the family pool mainly on this visit. Everyone is super friendly and the staff is great. You definitely feel comfortable and all members of the staff work to ensure that you are. Whenever we are in the area, we very much enjoy the amenities offered here.

I went at Sawgrass Contry Club, at the restaurant/bar. I had a enjoyable moment with my family even though I don't play golf. Good enviroment. It's worth to know.

I took my kids and niece up to watch the fireworks display at the country club and wow! What a treat! Members and guests all brought their golf carts and parked around a knoll surrounding a large water hole or pond. I'm not sure if the display was hand or electronically-lit but what a display it was! Leading up to the show, the club sponsored kid-friendly activities with a large inflatable slide, bouncy house, face painting and other activities. There was live music being played complete with a sit-down dinner for the donating sponsors in a large white tent (we were just visiting so didn't participate there but were still able to enjoy the music) and smiles were everywhere as we all seemed to honor our country-the reason why we were all here on this July 4th evening! It was magical!

I'm not a big golfer, and i don't know much about the history of golf, but i found the FREE 20 minute guided tour by a volunteer to be extremely interesting. The tour guide walked us around the clubhouse, gave us history on how the paintings made it on the walls, as well as stories about photographs and artifacts that are on display. They do accept tips that go towards a charity, so please donate! For the clubhouse itself, the building is absolutely spectacular.

Ponte Vedra Beach is just south of Jacksonville, Florida. The sandy beach runs all the way from Jacksonville Beach down to Miami and the Keys. With the turbulent Atlantic Ocean redesigning the landscape on each tide, you may even be lucky enough to see the Leather Back Turtles come up onto the beach at night and lay their eggs, pre-historic "jet black" shark teeth and in abundance, if you luck carefully for them. I have been travelling there two months every year for past 10 years. It really is a hidden secret. Ponte Vedra Beach has the pleasure of having Sawgrass Country Club and PGA on its territory. Sawgrass PGA is one of the top five golf courses in the USA. The area is full of wealth, wonderful houses and NOT the traditional USA food linked and sky rise buildings you find else where. It's very quaint! The Sawgrass Country Club has many golf courses to choose from, plus tennis, a health club and spa. The rental homes are privately owned and good value for money for the standards you receive, each street has their own communal swimming pool. The Beach Club House area it's self offers a child pool, a very large "L" shaped training/family pool and an "Adult Only" pool. There is a formal restaurant, an indoor restaurant (both over looking the beautiful sea and beach, plus the outdoor smart restaurant and a family snack bar on decking, all with great views. Just right for a cocktail at sundown! The public do not wander up and down the beach as it is to far away from any of the Public Access points. The houses on the beach are $10m +, amazing designs and architecture. Ponte Verdra Beach has a restriction on the height of buildings and advertising is only allowed to be one storey high. Restaurant are very upmarket (not TGI, Cracker Barrel & fast food etc) many independent specialist restaurants. The area is very quaint, Spanish oaks and palm trees welcome you into many of the gated communities. You will never be bored of shopping, it's which area to visit next which is the hard decision, I have purchased many designer bargains over the years. Half an hour away is the USA's oldest and most beautiful town of ST AUGUSTINE, it possesses a wonderful white sand beach, great fun restaurants many with live music, craft shops and historic sights. On the outskirts are two designers shopping outlets. Forget Sth Florida and Mid Florida, treat your self to a new experience.

The Country Club is magnificent from the minute you pull up in front of it you can feel the excitement. You will see the flags flying from the different countries that represent each winner of the PGA tournament that they have there in May each year. Right now the american flag is flying in the middle of the winners circle since Tiger won for 2013. The cups and trophy's that are on display are breathtaking if you are a golf fan I would highly recommend visiting this club!

Had a great time for a business function with food and activities. Some great shrimp and grits and excellent prime rib. Beautiful interior and excellent service.

It may not have the look that TPC Sawgrass has. Or the T.V exposure, but the golf course has more nature character that the Players Champ. This is a hidden Gem.
