We went with a 2 & 4 y/o and we went the entire hour without a problem with the boys, the horses, or the parents. Local staff, very friendly and patient explaining how to ride a horse for us city slickers. Our boys had an amazing time!! Thank you.

Went for a ride, first time... It was awesome and I was made to feel at ease with these beautiful and majestic animals. Would do it again.

The Two Bit Stable has calm, well cared for horses who "know what to do".Mount up, and have a very lovely stroll along the water.Don't miss this chance to do something many folks just dream about. This stable cares about their horses, who are well adjusted, friendly, and calm.If this is something your bucket list, or even if it's not, DO book with Two Bit Stable, you will NOT be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about the staff at Two-Bit! They made it possible for our family to ride all together! They walked with our disabled child for the entire ride so that she could ride by herself! It is a very long walk too! I am so very grateful to them for making our experience such a pleasure!

We love vacationing at Cape San Blas and it's only made better with a horseback ride along the Gulf of Mexico. The beaches are gorgeous and Two-Bit Stable provided wonderful horses and a fabulous guide. It's hard to imagine anything more peaceful than riding while listening to the waves and seeing the endless expanse of ocean. Book early to make sure you can fit this in while you're vacationing!

The temperature was unseasonably cool and we were thinking of canceling. So glad we decided to go. Riding on the beach along the Gulf of Mexico, on beautiful, well cared for horses was an extraordinary experience. The calming sounds of the waves hitting the shore as we rode was so relaxing. Our guide took some great pictures of us so we can remember this wonderful experience. Loved it!

The horses were not just some 'rental' horses, but well taken care of, beautiful animals. The owner made sure we knew how to treat them on the ride and gave good instructions. The sunset ride was gorgeous and we have some nice photos to remember this trip. If you are an experienced rider this ride might be a little disappointing since you can only walk the horses in a straight line, one behind the other. However, even novices will be kept safe and beach regulations will not be broken :)

My husband and I went for an hour and a half ride on the beach with Two-Bit Stable on our recent romantic getaway to the Port St. Joe area. It was very nice! The horses all seemed calm, well cared for and well trained. The ride leader seemed very responsible and professional. She told us it would be a walking-only ride per city rules and that our horses were not allowed to stop and eat the sea oats, leaves, etc.I rode a horse named Preacher, a very nice boy. My husband rode Lightning Bug, a wonderful fellow. The afternoon ride was beautiful, with the sun shining on the waves. We rode past many people playing and fishing on the beach, and kids burying themselves in the sand. The crashing waves looked and sounded beautiful! The ride leader stopped in the middle of the ride and took excellent photos of all of us on our horses. I love our picture and will post it on my office wall.Though it was disappointing not to be able to go any faster than a slow walk, the rules are the rules and I can understand why they're in place for the safety of the beach goers, especially the tiny children who would not want to look up and see a horse running toward them!Preacher did insist on eating some sea oats, though, and the leader of the ride had to come and rescue me as he was not budging when I ineptly tried to get him away from the grasses.Overall, this was a great experience we will always remember!

My wife and I went on a 90-minute ride. I rode Lightning Bug and my wife rode Preacher. There were three other riders, and the leader. Before the ride they went over the rules, which included, "don't let the horses eat sea oats, especially Lightning Bug and Preacher, because they're older and smarter and they know all the tricks."I was determined to let Lightning Bug eat sea oats. We rode the horses slowly up the coast and then the leader stopped and lined us up and took pictures of us on our horses. The pictures were very Good and one we will cherish forever. On the way back I sang to Lightning Bug, songs by the Grateful Dead and "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones and I think he liked it because his ears were turned toward me. Meanwhile my wife's horse, Preacher, kept lagging behind. My wife thought it was because he didn't like her but when we were coming up of the beach he ducked into a sea oat patch. He knew my wife was a sucket and if he hung back he'd get a bunch of sea oats before the last for to him. This horse ride was a good experience.

We took our 16 year old daughter and her friend here as a surprise while we were on the Cape. This was definitely the highlight of their vacation!Neither my daughter nor myself had ever been on a horse before, but the the guide kindly helped us, gave us clear instructions, and the horses obviously knew exactly what to do. The horses were so beautiful and well cared for - it was very apparent the guide's love and passion for them. Each horse had its own personality, which was really fun to watch come out!Riding on these beautiful horses along the beach is truly an amazing experience. I'm so grateful we were able to do this for our daughter. There aren't many opportunities to do something like this and I'm glad we went ahead and chose Two-Bit Stables to take us on this ride.

We took our two school age kids riding on the beach with these folks and it was excellent. Calm horses, lovely beach, friendly and personable guide. Our kids have little experience with horses and that was fine. The horses are used to the routine and local law prohibits any pace faster than a walk. It was easy to call and arrange the ride. Not inexpensive at $50 an hour per person, but worth it for the experience. If you are on Cape San Blas, this is a fun activity.

They were very accommodating with our vacation days and really annoying weather for most of the trip. Horses look very healthy and happy. Guide took several pictures for us. We consisted of one adult with a good amount of riding experience, one adult with a little, and 2 young children with little to none. We doubled both horses and paired the horses perfectly to our needs. Highly recommend them.

We took our three children, ages 9, 12 and 16, on this wonderful sunset horse ride. Two Bit was very professional and knowledgeable and they obviously love their horses. The horses were gentle and each had their own distinct personalities which added to the magic of our memorable excursion. I rode Preacher from the vantage point of last place and took many phenomenal photos and videos. My wife rode the aptly named Sassy. Our son was in the lead and on Jay Jay and out daughters were in the middle on Cee Cee and Lightning Bug respectively. We had so much fun interacting with them throughout the journey. No one in our party had any prior riding experience, yet we were all able to easily mount and dismount and steer our horses along the trail and shore. Cheryl was wonderful, helpful and even took many still pictures of us on our horses as the sun was setting and afterward! We would definitely use Two Bit again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and sharing your beautiful, friendly animals with our family.
