We visited the bordega in November 2014 and what a great tour it was. Out guid was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting, he answered all of our questions in style! The room where the tasting took place was sumptuous and we took in our lovely surroundings. If you have time, give Osborne a visit.

I highly recommend to take a guided tour at Osborne Mora Wineries! You will learn a lot and you can also taste the different kinds of sherries and brandies. The buildings and the park are also beautiful. The guiding excellent.

We visited this bodega in March 2014 whilst on holiday in Spain it having been recommended to us by others who had visited. We were the only 2 people on the tour so had the undivided attention of our English speaking guide. We found the history of the sherry house and the information about how sherry is actually produced fascinating. It also answered the question I had about why one never sees any "vintage" sherry for sale (it is always made by producing a blend of different years with some of the mix being very old sherry indeed).Because we were the only visitors on the day we found ourselves left with five? bottles of sherry, plates of crisps nuts and olives at the end of the tour, with the instruction to help ourselves but please leave the bottles (empty or otherwise) when we left!! We helped ourselves to generous amounts of various delicious sherries which may have been the cause of spending rather more in the gift shop than we had originally intended!!!The tour was really very interesting and great fun and we were totally seduced by the sampling of some very fine sherry, returning home with 4 or 5 bottles of sherry and a couple of brandy plus tasting glasses. We regret not being able to easily find Osbourne (or Osbornay) sherry back in Britain though it can be found. If you are in the area spend the 8 euros and make sure you are not driving anywhere afterwards for an hour or four! The surrounding area has a large bull ring to visit if you are interested and various eating places where you can get food and coffee after your visit.Parking is a complete pig but we did manage to find a space in a car park nearby so be prepared to have to scout around for a space though you might get lucky and find a space in the street outside the bodega.

This is a very good tour, made excellent by the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide, José. We were patiently given an extensive tour of the beautiful winery through the old, high-arched solera rooms, accompanied by the soft scent of peacefully ageing wines. Afterwards we tasted five different styles of sherry to put our recently gained knowledge to the taste test. When the tour was over you are free to walk around the immaculate grounds of the bodegas, wandering the private plazas and patios full of fruit trees heavily-laden with oranges and lemons. For only €8 this is a must-see attraction if you are in El Puerto.

I personally loved the tour around the winery - our guide obviously loves his job and had a lot to teach us about the company's history and wine-making process. Having had no previous knowledge of how wines are made, I was quite impressed and honestly learned a lot. The guided tour is only 8 euro per person, lasts quite a bit, and at the end you get 4 bottles (4 different wines, one dry, the rest pretty sweet and strong) per table (we had 6-ish people at ours and it was plenty for all of us to get nice and tipsy). Apparently, all their guided tours in English were in the morning, so we booked one in Spanish instead. I was the only one in my group of friends who knew Spanish, so I translated throughout the tour, although at the end the guide came up to us and asked us in English if we understood his explanations and if we had any questions. Also, they have a nice souvenir shop there. All in all, it was a great experience.

We had prebooked our €8 guided tour in English of this sherry bodega in El Puerto de Santa Maria and we were not disappointed. From pleasant January sunshine we entered the reception cum boutique shop from where our guide collected us. The first 10 minutes were given over to a video about the company which was mostly glossy advertorial content and didn't add much to the overall experience. Once the tour proper commence, inside the cool and musty bodega we were able to gain a much more detailed appreciation of the origins and development of sherry. The bodega contained 650 large barrels of American oak, each more or less full of different types of sherry. Our questions were answered in detail and helpfully so that we were well prepared for the subsequent tasting. Although there were only 3 of us we had self service access to 5 full bottles of sherry, from Fino to Muscatel plus a bottle of brandy ! Crisps, pate and biscottes were also provided. This proved an excellent aperitif to the imminent tapas lunch. Back to the shop where every item, from bookmarks to ham carving sets, clothes and toys carried the ubiquitous Osborne bull logo (The huge silhouette figures of the bull, seen on hilltops throughout Spain have been decreed as National Monuments following a previous attempt to remove them), great for the fashionistas. The tour was well organised and presented, and good value (there are more expensive options) although a recasting of the video may be beneficial.

After visiting most wineries in the south of Spain, I have to admit that I was really impressed after visiting Osborne Mora Winery. You can realize from the beginning that they love what they do, they love their product and therefore present it with a smile. After watching a video, the tour around the winery is beautiful to finally end tasting the house best sherrys. Fully recommended!

I was lucky enough to visit this beautiful Sherry Bodega in the evening and I had an amazing time. Iván, the host showed a remarkable kindness. We were treated like friends in a very personal way and that's something that I love while visiting places. This place is full of history, tradition and beauty and one can experience the magic of the combination of those three as soon as they step in. Definitely a must while visiting the lovely town of El Puerto de Santa María.

If you’re visiting the south of Spain and you love wine you have to stop in this lovely bodega. I’ve been in 'Las bodegas de Mora' many times. It is one of the oldest venues in El Puerto de Santa María, and they always had an excellent service and great wine & food tastings. I will totally recommend the location.

We spent a morning in Osborne during our family holidays and it was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed the experience. It was very interesting to get into the wine world and the visit was very well organised, (with a delicious wine tasting also!!!)We trully recommend it if you are planning to visit El Puerto de Santa María.

The tour was wonderful and the bodega is well worth visiting! It's in the heart of the town of El Puerto and offers an insight into authentic Spain. It's fantastic value and the tasting session is amazing (you get to try many types and drink as much as you want!). The guide was lovely and the visit was one of the highlights of our trip. Loved it!!

I had a tour of the Osborne Bodega in July 2012.I was party of a small group which had a guided tour of the facilities, an explanation of the production process and an opportunity to sample the products. This was a good tour, mainly due to the knowledge and personality of the guide. We were able to ask questions during the tour with the answers being easy to understand. The group were able to take the tour at a pace which suited us.This was one of the best bodega tours I have had.

We booked a tour and the girl who showed us around was well informed. We have visited several wineries, distilleries and breweries and this was one of the best. The generosity shown at the end was exceptional
