This place is simply amazing. Walking on this pathway, you feel like you are in a movie scene which has one of those small towns with colorful buildings all lining up the road and a thin little river flowing in between. Quite mesmerising. One can just walk or sit and have coffee in one of the numerous alfresco cafes or even shop. When we were there, it even rained a bit and this place became much more beautiful.
If you have enough time , Try to take a to walk around in the afternoon or take a horse riding for sight seeing will be nice too. You can have a shot in every corner. Lovely..!!
This promenade is wide and goes along the river. The views of the beautiful and old buildings is amazing. If you like expensive shops you'll find them here. We just loved this walk to take in the beauty.
Beautiful, and extremely elegant street to walk around, and do some shopping. The architecture is really amazing, and every building is a work of art.
Just outside our hotel Grandhotel Pupp the street is a shopping paradise for people looking for brands stores, it has coffee shops and restaurants by the river, beautiful colourful buildings. You cannot miss it while in there.. Beauty
As the title says - similarly to twin Nova Louka street, unless you are a rich shopper, you don't have really much to do here. Although it's likely you live in a hotel here or somewhere nearby.Anyways, it's very pretty and well-maintained street. Worth a stroll.
We parked by the Albert Supermarket not far from the bus station and walked the full length of the valley walking down on one side of the river and returning on the other side of the river. The day we went was slightly overcast but this did nothing to detract from the beauty of this spa town which is full of imposing imperial buildings. As others have commented for a Czech town cafe's etc are very expensive but if you do need to eat there is a McDonalds which charges normal prices.Plenty of public toilets but they all charge around 10CK for admission. I would certainly recommend a visit to this town allowing yourself 2 or 3 hours simply to stroll.
last time I was here it was pouring of rain and it was lovely, this visit the sun was shinning and the place just looked stunning, difficult to try and get a great angle for a photo but still worth just walking along.
Really nice to walk around, have your picture taken. You should go up one side of the river and come down the other on the way back.
Very nice place to walk during the day or evening! Renewed buildings and streets. Even cafes and restaurants are very expensive, i would suggest to have a snack over there. Kid liked musical steel steps along the walkway!
A pretty street that is worth a walk around and a stop for a coffee in one of the fancy cafes. There are many boutiques which are out of my particular price range but the architecture is a great photo opportunity. Many small bridges cross the river which runs down the middle of the street and offer different views of the buildings. Definitely worth a stroll for sure!
It was just a pity the weather was so bad when i was there but it truely is a lovely place,i really could imagine it in summer time as a place i would love to be.
Karlovy vary is a very pretty, relaxing place to visit. It is lovely to stroll along this street. Things are better priced than in Prague, but most are cheaper again in the suburban shopping centres, except crystal which isn't available out of the tourist strips. We both love this little city and would recommend it for couples to take a romantic break. Food is very cheap compared to rest of Europe, and the cappuccinos are much better than in France! We have eaten out every day, and the food quality is good. Hubby had a massage and reckons it was the best ever. Just lovely.
very interesting street . the buildings are prestigious . all in all the view is relaxing full of souvenir shops and antiquities - like goods , good choice there , but one should be prepared by a full wallet .
We loved Karlovy Vary....and this street is the main reason. It should be a UNESCO. The buildings were wonderful toadmire, and the street was perfect for strolling.
